CNBC is starting their shit on the healthcare debate..

Here's the highlights..

The healthcare companies sold off today on the Obama speech at the AMA.

Humana down 4%

CNBC spin. Investors are afraid of government interference in healthcare. Code for socialism/public option.

They had guests saying the lobbyists won't allow it. There's no support in congress. Code..He doesn't have the votes in the Senate.

If CNBC starts their shit again like they did with Santelli, then we're going to have a harder fight.

The Republicans will be able to use CNBC as a mouthpiece for their arguments.

Here's their contact page it you feel like dropping them a note to tell them to mind their own business.

Maybe we can nip this in the bud and not end up with more frigging tea partys.

2. I'm tempted to cancel my United Health Insurance Medi-gap policy and

taking a chance on paying the co-pays out of pocket. So far it would be a lot cheaper than paying for the insurance every month. I just worry at my age, that when I get the disease that's going to do me in, I won't be able to afford the co-pays. But if everyone canceled their insurance to drive them out of business, there's a possibility we could pave the way for a government plan. It's just a crazy idea I know, but I hate being held hostage by this parasitical industry.

5. That's what they are parasites. They offer nothing really except a means
to reshuffle your money. They have interjected themselves between the patient and doctor, while siphoning off as much cash as they can.

4. Yep, Mrs. Greenspan kicked off their anti-public option
propaganda immediately after Obama's AMA speech. Her guests spouted all the usual Republican taking points. Andrea Mitchell just sat there like the rightwing tool that she is soaking it up.

Then Lieberman shows up to claim that there are hundreds of health care providers out there, so there should be enough competition to keep health care affordable.

Please send your complaints to MSNBC. If you have a Twitter account, please tweet that MSNBC is spreading pro-health insurance propaganda.

8. LOL competition
Thats is funny, competition.

Let's see you get a couple of good faith quotes from hospitals on how much a double bypass will cost. Oh thats right you can't. The system is hosed, there is no competition without clear and open pricing.

Hell the AMA actively limits the numbers of medical schools, medical school matriculants, and residencies to keep wages high. How the hell can you have a free market with that kind of collusion.

6. If the healthcare industry were viable, they would not be afraid of a public option.
The healthcare industry has failed -- in every respect. They have to cheat to make a profit. That is why people want a public alternative. Having a public option in order to provide "competition" for private healthcare insurers is just a euphemism for having a public option to keep private healthcare insurers honest. Because it's the cheating that is the problem.
