Ruling delayed on upside-down flag
HOA cited couple for violating its display policy

By Tillie Fong, Rocky Mountain News
July 12, 2007

WHEAT RIDGE - The Cambridge Park Homeowners Association made no decision Wednesday night at a hearing on whether a woman who displayed her flag upside down should be fined for violating the HOA's policies on political expression. ~snip~

Newman said the five-member board wouldn't allow her to present evidence of other residents who were violating HOA rules on flags but who were never cited.

"There was a flag in the driveway (that was used) as a reflector and (people would) drive over it," she said.

"There were flags dirtied and soiled in the flower pots. None of these people have been told they had to take the flag down." ~snip~

1. It is not a violation of anything ...
it is a recognized sign/signal of distress. See my avatar!
