Police Brutality: On the rise?
Staying static? On the decline?

It seems to me that there have been a lot of incidences of police brutality lately. For example, take the guy in the wheelchair that I am sure most of us heard about. My question is, is the actual count of these acts on the rise, or just our ability to hear about them because of our modern technology? If anybody has some personal insight into this, or some research/statistics about it; it would be great if you would share.

Thanks,

Zane

1. I honestly think
it's because it has become so easy to broadcast. The brutality of the criminals is rising exponentially.

2. Yes, it's on the rise........
and yes, you're hearing more about it. Police intimidation is part of the fascist shift.

The jurist, http://jurist.law.pitt.edu/paperchase/2007/12/us-police-brutality-prosecutions.php , has links to further information and a brief set of statistics.

However, those really good videos of police brutality that you see all over the net lately are a message, one that precedes the shift to a completely closed state. It's part of the intimidation tactic.

4. In New York City
In NYC where I live, police brutality seems to have picked up. Here we had the case of Sean Bell, who was shot 50 times when he had no gun to hurt anyone. The police officers were declared innocent. Bastards.
