Mike Gravel vs. Ron Paul would have made a fascinating general election about rights/liberty/freedom. Unfortunately, that means that neither candidate stood a chance. The Republicans are all about bombing, torture, and military spending for "security," and we've become all about forcible wealth redistribution.

Nobody wants to hear about unbelievable executive orders that remain on the books or the patriot act.
