NEWSFLASH: Judges have the authority to both seal records and close the courtroom, either when a party requests it or on their own initiative. The idea that anyone---other than the judges and the defendants---is going to learn anything from federal habeas corpus hearings is a total straw man that needs to be lit on fire and tossed back at the asshats erecting it.

What they really mean is "Man, if some of these guys were innocent of the things we locked them up for, they're gonna be kind of upset when we let them out after a 'few' years." No shit, Sherlock, but whose fault is that? Not the prisoners'. And if the evidence shows the likelihood that they are guilty, THEY DON'T GET OUT. :grr:
