Looking for info about an important issue that is mysteriously invisible on the internet.
Heard of this only once on the local TV news in Maine: somewhere between 2000-2006? (landshark threatens to evict citing “not to carry on any business...” against a writer)

Also vaguely recall an interview mentioning this incident on the Air America radio network a few years ago.

That is, there are many unenforced rules everywhere in many different contexts. If all of the software patents on the books right now were actually enforced, it would shut down the entire internet. Technically, you are infringing an estimated thousand of them every time you boot your operating system. They are usually not enforced. If people felt the consequences of them, they would know how BAD they are, and would unanimously campaign just like the net-neutrality crowd. Also...

Try the local library. Many have an electronic product called Newsbank. Newsbank indexes local news stories.
