Greer, SC Woman, ACLU Take On Public Utility Over Calendar

A woman from Greer has taken a complaint to the American Civil Liberties Union, stating that the Commission of Public Works' new calendar is inappropriate for a public utilities company.

The calendar in question is given as a free gift to CPW's customers and has a bible verse printed on each day of the year.

"It is religion creeping in, inch by inch, to government," said Sheila Jackson.
