IMO that image actually exaggerates the ratio to make the science section seem larger. Lots of bookstores relegate "science" to a shelf or two in the vast pseudoscience section.

Of course, they don't actually call it pseudoscience...

3. Our local B&N devotes more shelves to Religious Fiction than to Science ...

and an even bigger section to Religion. New Age is at least as big as Science.

7. I usually look for keywords
psuedo science likes to use the same ones to make themselves sound important.

Either that, or they use words that shouldn't go together like, as an example, 'cellular relativity' no such thing.
