Meyer lemons make kickass fresh lemonade. I had a bunch of them left that I wasn't gonna be able to use before they went bad so, as the saying goes, if you have lemons, make lemonade. Very tasty indeed. :9

When I had a bunch of lemons that were getting ready to go past the point of no return, my sister microplaned them and put the peel in a plastic bag in the freezer. Then she juiced the lemons and put it in baby food jars in the freezer. What a smart sister I have.

I was thinking at one point about drying the zest. Wasn't sure it could be frozen. You do have one smart sister. And don't you love it when they share their smarts with the rest of us. ;)
