I found a great coffee!
It's called San Francisco Bay gourmet coffee. I buy the beans at Costco or Save Mart (a local outfit); however, they do have a website: www.sfbcoffee.com.

We're coffee snobs around our house and I swear this beats almost any of the yuppie coffee places out there. I've had more "this is the best coffee I've ever had" comments from guests I've served it too.

And for those who like the flavored coffees:
After you've poured the water into your coffeemaker's reservoir (or before you fill your Melitta), pour a Tablespoon or so of vanilla in the empty carafe. Before you brew the coffee, add Cinnamon to the grounds. You can do both of these together or choose one or the other.

1. Thanks for the heads-up! I've been on a Coffee Grail Quest my entire adult life
I keep looking for a coffee that tastes as good as it smells.
I'm almost always disappointed.

2. I usually don't care for the smell
when my other half brews it because he makes it so strong that it actually stinks. But we just bought some Cafe Feminino Organic Fair Trade Guatamalan and it smells glorious! He said it tastes good, too, so we're sticking with that since it also helps the coop that grows it sustainably.

3. Someday I might check that out
Here's hoping for better times for a lot of us :toast:

Had an organic Costa Rican kind my daughter bought me a few times. It was divine but I can't recall the brand.

There is nothing like a good cup of coffee. Your suggestions are good, too.

And............... I like your avatar ;)

6. I ordered a sample pak that should be here this week
it's not really fair as I ordered it pre-ground hopefully i can see if ordering a bago French Roast is worth it. Normally I don't go for flavored coffees, but Lady B (my stepmom) is visiting this week and she'll enjoy them but there was no way I was running some foo-foo coffee through my grinders LOL

I'm looking forward to it

8. You must live in my sister and BIL's neighborhood, lol. They are within
walking distance of the only Trader Joe's in WI (Glendale/Whitefish Bay).

9. No I live a 45 minute drive away...
but we make the trip every now and then for their wine, and while there pick up other stuff too. We got acquainted with the store while visiting someone in Minneapolis.

10. I am especially blessed. I have a TJ's less than a mile from my home
here in SoCal, and then the one in WI is a 10-minute stroll across a parking lot and shopping area.
