What's for Dinner? ~ Monday March 9th
Not sure yet.
It's a shopping day, and my pain level is pretty bad, so it may be wimpy food day for me.

Oh...I'm trying that new Italian bread later too. The recipe from Il Fornaio.

What's for dinner where ye be?

1. Leftover Monday!
Sorry you're having such a hard time with the pain lately. You don't think it's an overabundance of bread, do you?

2. No. The bread actually helps my situation. I've been sitting in my computer chair too much lately...

I have a severely weakened abdominal wall and have herniated into a previous midline incision area in several places. BIG TIME. So I am dealing with "stuff" protruding into tears in the wall, pulling scar tissue, stoma problems, etc. If I stay in any one position for too long, there is pain. That's why it looks like I'm always here. :D I have to keep moving around the house, and so I pop in and out a lot. :)

Don't worry about me. It's a permanent thing.
Surgery can't guarantee any real relief, so I am not even considering it right now.

Leftover brownies sounds great to me!

7. squash is a big-time favorite here

and to think as a kid you couldn't get me to touch the stuff. Mr T picked out a HUGE butternut a few weeks ago so I roasted it all brown and bubbly. We've been eating it ever since, a little spice and a knob of butter was all it needed - it's so sweet... oh man....

anyway, tonight it's leftovers! yea!!! I love leftover night, when the microwave is your friend....

and 'cinda - :hi: I commiserate, I've been wondering if I should set an alarm that tells me to get up every half hour or so. It's harder in the winter tho' - at least in the summer there's a chance I won't spend my stretch time in the kitchen

- nibbling -

8. I actually downloaded a desktop alarm so I could use it as a reminder
When I'm researching something I lose all track of time.

It also helps that we have three cats. Seems like one of them always wants something from me and they wander in and out of the house in a pretty good rotation. LOL
