They make a lot of money for a lot of people. That's the key to success in the entertainment industry - how much you can make is directly tied to how much you can make for your supporters - and they've earned it.

Paula Dean's house, at least, will probably be the site of a good amount of wonderful Southern hospitality.

4. I have to disagree.
Nobody is entitled to that huge a footprint on the environment. It's nice that they make good money for the people they employ but they don't have to have such a huge house, many of them sitting either unoccupied most of the time, or with two people max, using up valuable resources and displacing wildlife in these rural or semi-rural areas they live.

To me that kind of house has always been about one thing - showing off.

6. And it's a small apartment kitchen.
It may be in a pricey area of a big city (or not, I have no idea where this is located) but it probably has the same small footprint it's had for decades. :thumbsup:
