My dear friend who is such the crafty fellow just walked in the door right off the plane from Poland with some Liverwurst. We're gonna chow down....I don't have any rye bread but I have an onion and some mustard. He mentioned he has some poppy seed cookies too but I haven't seen them yet.

It was lovely...The cookies were a bit "commercial" but still lovely. The best part though was we finished off most of a terrific bottle of vodka with peppercorns in it. I had to start with mixing it with a little V-8 but was then was able to enjoy it as a shot. I'm not much of a drinker but last night made an exception
