Yoplait Red Velvet Yogurt
Not recommended.

Doesn't taste like chocolate, doesn't taste like cake.

Tastes like "pink". The color is Peptol Bismol and it tastes generically sweet without any more additional flavor.

1. Yech!
To use an old Mad Magazine expression. :puke:

Where did this idea that we were all gagging for more forms of red velvet come from?

It's fine as a buffet dessert table staple, but I don't need to Red Velvetize my life.

2. You're right. Bad enough to try a concept like Red Velvet yogurt, but
imagine an epic fail or worse, lying. I swear it was just sweetened and colored yogurt.

3. that looks awful, plus
those containers are dangerous to wildlife. They get their heads caught because of the tapering shape. So if you buy this stuff, please cut apart the containers before recycling or discarding.

5. I find that generally true of all their "yogurt"
which contains no active cultures and is basically just thickened milk that has been sugared and artificially flavored with whatever.

Dannon still has the real thing and their Greek yogurt is to die for, super thick and puckery.

7. I haven't eaten Yoplait in years. Barely qualifies as yogurt to me.
I prefer to buy plain yogurt and add my own flavors.

Oh, and I HATE yogurt with pectin added. Pectin doesn't belong in yogurt, lol, nor do all those other additives. Just milk and live cultures - and the strained ones like Fage are even better but if there is no pectin you can strain it yourself.

9. +1 on Yoplait
I tried their Greek yogurt and it had a gritty texture.
I eat plain yogurt straight..maybe with a side of berries.
