Re: Nutella. You guys really suck. Nutella sucks too.
Because of you guys...I went out purchased some.

It has completely disrupted my household and I have purchased not one but TWO jars this week alone.

SO...while my family thanks you...you guys really suck!;)

Next time someone asks you how Nutella is...you must say how much it sucks...and leave your dirty little secret of the Nutella and it's propensity for divineness to yourself.

It's the right thing to do--this stuff could crash the economy!

1. LOL! When my daughter was
in college, I'd always include a jar of Nutella in her care package! She loves the stuff. Me? Not so much as I'm not really into chocolate all that much.

either. Awful.

4. Yeah, and the Kroger version sucks, too.
Not even going to try the "crunchy" version they recently came out with. Unless I decide to make a trip there tomorrow...

26. I always buy the Kroger version.
It's tastes just as good as Nutella and it's also $1 cheaper.

29. I kinda like it better.
At least on some days. It seems to have a little more hazelnut flavor to it. Still haven't gotten around to trying the crunchy version however.

9. Nutella is Costco's biggest selling food product
Edited on Sun Jul-31-11 10:46 AM by The empressof all
Well...they do have the best price and you get a jar and a spare. :hi:

Disclaimer: I was told this by two Costco employees and there was some wine involved so I can not attest to it's total accuracy---but I believe it.

10. Ha!
If the rest of us are addicted to it you might as well be too. Whatever you do don't try dipping thin pretzel sticks in it to snack on. :)

14. It's like crack.
I have spent the weekend with a large jar and a spoon watching us get sold down the river...and now, I am going to have to buy another jar tomorrow.

My 2-year old granddaughter woke me up this morning and told me she wanted some "toast...wif choc-at on it Nana...yummy".:)

17. Dang. Thought I had a comrade for a second.
I can't stand the stuff. Was in Germany as a teenager and ate way too much of it. Then proceeded down the autobahn for 3 hours- thought I was gonna hurl. Even the smell of it makes me gag.

may have been some alcohol involved in my teenage story. ;)

24. Found a recipe for banana bread
last week since I had some overripe bananas to use up.

The recipe called for 1 C of Nutella swirled in the batter. :D

which, when slathered on Belgian butter wafers, is a mystical experience.

I think it might be my new favorite ice cream. I served it on a crepe with chocolate sauce, nuts, and whipped cream.
