8. Questions about the tomato pie.
I tried it and the bottom crust turned out mushy. I drained my tomato slices for along thime and I used romas. I wonder if I should have pre-baked my crust first? I wonder if I left the cheese off until towards the end of baking in order to let the moisture cook off. It tasted good. Your thoughts???

9. I always pre-bake my crust.
Plus I put my tomato slices on paper towels on newspaper to get most the liquid off of them. The tomatoes then go on Italian bread crumbs on the bottom of the pie. It works for me.
