I just found out my day care is closing at the end of the month!
Looking for a new day care has been a nightmare! I've gone to one place that was a total dump, another place told me not to come by until "later," & the places I like are full. I have no idea what I'll do if I can't find decent child care!

1. A good place to start...
http://www.naeyc.org/accreditation/search/

The National Association for the Education of Young Children is an advocacy and acreditation organization. They rock. If you can find a school/center that's VSAEYC accredited, then you know they're doing good with the kids.

I also had luck finding a good in-home sitter for our infant son by using Craigslist.

Good luck. Finding care for our little ones can be a worry.

3. Start by asking co-workers and friends..
Some of them migth be able to help you out.. Are your hours regualr? Do you have stay at home neighbors that you could "co-op" with ? I created a babysitting co-op in my neighborhood when my boys were small.. We ended up with about 35 mothers and never had to pay a cent for sitting.. It was a DREAM come true:)

It's not hard either
