I'm trying to sell my company on recycling the old Pentium and Pentium II computers that have been sitting in the corner of my office since the dinosaurs went extinct. They're too old to recycle by donation to organizations that refurbish computers and donate them to schools or other non-profits. (They only want Pentium III or newer.) So I have to go to the hard-to-recycle center which charges per piece to recycle. It's not much, but you know how businesses are; if there was anything in it for them, they'd be more apt to shell out the money. (Of course the idea that hazmats not leeching into the landfill is something that's in it for them as people, but as we know, corporations are people without souls or the need for clean water. x()
Anyway, I'm in Denver. Does anyone know of any Colorado state or federal tax credits given for recycling old office equipment?
Thanks in advance! :hi:
