About Podcasts/RSS feeds...
I'm confused. First of all, is there any difference between Podcasts and RSS feeds? For instance, are Podcasts like Apple proprietary RSS feeds??

I tried this for the first time last night: I'm using a Sony PSP, then went to http://www.podcast.net/, found whatever content I wanted, and added the RSS feeds by clicking on the RSS icons for each show. It works fine, except it appeared I had to be at home connected to the internet to listen to the shows.

My main question is, do I have to be connected to the Internet to listen, or can the RSS content be downloaded to the PSP for later? Does it depend on the device? If nobody here has a PSP, do iPods download RSS feeds for later?

1. Did a little digging (google)
Does this (and its linked demos) look like it'll answer your questions?

I'll also ask little bro about how his PSP deals with podcast / RSS content tonight.

P.S. A podcast is audio content provided through an RSS feed (RSS = real simple syndication, I think)

2. I found an option on in my PSP settings
It allows me to specify saving the last 1, 5, 10, or all RSS feeds, as I understand it.

But, it does not appear to be automatic. Even though I set it to 10, it's still not saving to the memory stick. Maybe I have to manually set an RSS feed to save, which is also an option in the RSS feed section. Ugh. I'm tempted to go back to old fashioned downloading.
