Need help downloading movie
I've spent at least 12 hours over this long weekend trying to figure a way to download a commercial movie onto my computer and put select scenes onto a PowerPoint presentation.

The movie is protected, so I can't copy it directly. Is there a way around this?

This movie is available on YouTube, but all my attempts to convert and download it have failed. If I get it downloaded, then it won't embed in the powerpoint. I saw the thread on downloading from youtube and tried all those methods, plus others that I found through google. I'm hopeless. :)

BTW, the movie is "Odd Girl Out", and I am giving a presentation on Wed. on girl aggression.

Any help you give would be greatly appreciated.
TIA!

If using Firefox, get this extension (Download Helper):

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006

You can download it as an .flv (flash video) file using that. Beyond that (getting it into PowerPoint) I don't know, but I'm sure there's a way.

edit to add: also, get this program, Quick Media Converter, and convert the .flv to .avi (or whatever other format PowerPoint will import)
