Need some help regarding a computer error message

I get this sometimes when my screen saver kicks in. I run SETI@home as my screensaver, but the program itself runs continuously in the background.

I have a Dell PC running XP with SP2.

I have two different sizes of RAM chips, a 256 meg and a 512 meg.

This has been going on for a few months, finally decided to do something about it. I thought it might go away when I installed the new C: drive, but so such luck.

Any clues?

1. Try this:
http://www.memtest86.com/

First try switching your memory sticks around and see what happens. One of them is bad.
Sometimes just removing and re-seating them will fix things.
