Think I posted this before but hopefully new eyes now. My cursor keeps jumping around.

I will be typing a sentence and in the middle of a word it jumps back to the middle of a previous word or space and I end up typing there until realize what happened. And sometimes it highlights while I am typing and I end up deleting the who le thing I was typing.

It moved about 5 times while writing this and I had to go back and fix words. It is frustrating. My computer still runs very hot sometimes and it seems like this happens more when the computer is hot.

I have a Hewlett Packard Laptop Pavilion.

1. Does your laptop's fan work? Do you ever here it running?

Can you arrange it so that air can freely flow to the vents on the bottom(?) of the laptop so it can draw air to cool it?

Is it in a particular application or just with everything?

That's what I always end up doing on a laptop.
