Firefox browser question...

After bring up multiple windows, sometime I read on one window, DU, while waiting for another window to load (Bradblog). I hate it when the browser switches automatically to the loading window when it's complete. Is there someway to stay on the current window until I'm ready to switch?

1. I don't know about new windows, but with new tabs, you can go to Edit >>

Preferences >> Advanced >> Tabbed Browsing --- and turn off "Select new tabs opened from links" and "Select new tabs opened from bookmarks or history"

2. If you use tabs, you can do this

Tools-options-tab browsing-tab focus

Check the 'load windows diverted into tabs in the bacground' box

Also check your settings in the links section

select 'new window' in the the 'Load web browser links in a'
and
select 'new window' in the 'Load external links in a'
