I can't get into Microsoft explorer anymore. M/E came with my
PC. Have been using it for internet access ever since. The other day I went to log on and it wouldn't connect. I check all my internet options and everything seems Ok. I did nothing to my computer from the last time I turned it off to when I turned it on again and couldn't get into microsoft explorer. I am hooked up through road runner cable so have access, but just like m/s/e and had all my favorite sites stored there. Any ideas what to do?

2. I just get my screen with my icons, that's normal...........
The microsoft explorer icon is there (butterfly)and I click on it. I get the M/E sign on screen, and click sign on. It tries 5 times to connect, then I get the this.............

it says "We were not able to sign you in. There may be a problem with our service or your internet connection. Please try again later."

I have tried going to MSN.com and signing in that way, but when I click on "My MSN", I get back, "Page Unavailable".

Thanks for responding, hope you can help.:yourock:

3. How do you connect to the internet? dial-up or broadband?

Is MSN your internet service provider? I don't think Explorer is your problem, that is just a web page content viewer. If you have problems with connecting to MSN, they may have server problems now.

on edit, try a reboot...that might fix your problem.
