He talks more about the DNC thing. He says he is exploring to see who is truly interested in real change.

5. Can anyone seriously doubt whether Dean wants the DNC Chair

after listening to that video? He wants to try to effect change from within. It is our best chance. But he seems to indicate that DFA will push for change with or without the democratic party. I'm with him.

6. I like the way he puts it about seeing if the DNC wants real change...

or not. Did anyone catch what he said about either working from the inside or working from the outside? Reminded us DFA is for not just Democrats, but Greens, Independents, moderate Republicans.

7. The Democratic wing of the Democratic party

That's us in the DFA. We are the true opposition party and the true representation of what Democracy means or should mean for America. A coalition of people with different views, who respect and work with each other for the common good. We want good jobs, clean air and water, a good public education system and we want to protect our civil rights. What could be more American than that? All who want to take our country back for the people are welcome.

Our meetup this month was a fundraiser which was totally cool, but I didn't get to stay for the phone call from Howard. Maybe NoPasaran got the part about working inside or outside.

8. Here is what I think he implied.

If he gets DNC chair...and he won't do it unless they ready for real change...he considers that working from the inside.

He appeared to refer to DFA as working from the outside...perhaps meaning outside the DNC cover. He mentioned all the other parties he would include in it.

9. The idea I got when I listened to this at the meetup was that

certain conditions had to be in place before Dean would consider taking the position.

I also heard at Meetup tonight that about a quarter of those who will vote on the matter want to revamp the position entirely.
