I have been wondering why I am gaining weight, I am not doing anything different, and I thought, between all the aches & discomfort, that maybe I will have to finally start some exercise routine;(

Right around the new moon period on the 20th, I started to feel the bottom fall out again. Most everyone around me was complaining of the usual August symptoms of B L O A T I N G, clogged ears/ear pain, sinus headaches, vertigo, weakness/faintness, heart flutters/palpitations, neck & back aches, heartburn/indigestion/nausea lethargy, fatigue, deep creepy sleeps/insomnia, weird dreams, itching/rashes, rage, depression, grief, sadness, crying bouts, irritability and the like...but seemingly with more intensity than usual...so I knew something big was up.

2. Arkansas Crystal Vortex

I have had many of the symptoms listed. Just like the other threads that deal with the awakenings occurring now.

But I very much like that Arkansas has a "Crystal Vortex". If good energy comes out of that it could help heal the south! That's a neat thing to think about. So many southerners project fear and hate that they get that reflected back to them. We need good energy in the South, seriously. Everybody's been really crazy down here since at least 9-11-01. In fact, I had a very frightening experience at a college football game (of all places) a few weeks after 911 that if I had known some of the things I know now, would have cued me to the fact that energy had shifted to a rageful direction here. I know that didn't make much sense, but I have had some assorted disjointed things going through my head lately. :crazy: Things linking up in my mind that I never put together before. I really think our collective "loosing it" in 2001 was the beginning of dredging everything out.

Surely some of these positive possibilities people learn of will come through. I love reading about them. I love crystals also, I have a pocket-full right now!

As for the weight loss issue, I AM ALL FOR IT. Like Lauren wrote (very funny blog, BTW), I gained 8 lbs. out of nowhere in the past several months and I am very, VERY unhappy about it, considering I already had 25 lbs. to lose before that 8 landed on my butt--and, like Lauren wrote, I started packing on the pounds nine years ago. Funny that! x( I have read in other channeled posts and messages for lightworkers that we are carrying extra weight as protection from recent negative energy--or even just the intensity of energy (neither good nor bad). But if I can get rid of my protective layer now, BRING IT ON.

7. Tell me about it!

I've steadily gained weight that I had successfully taken off, and kept off for 3 yrs. It started right after my Dad, who lived with us died. I blamed it on not having to run around doing everything for him. Take him to the bathroom, wash is butt, change his Catheter and bag. Make his special meals,set up his meds, and I was the "2 hr. wonder" because while my husband was working, I was moving two households into one house, running back and forth to the Nursing home etc. Once we moved in and he was released to our care, I had a nurse's aid for two hrs. every day. I managed to grocery shop in two hours, and make runs back to his house to clean out crap, in 2 hrs. He died in Feb. 2001, soon after the Bush/Gore thing was settled. Then came 9/11 and THE WEIGHT started piling back on. Visiting my sick husband in the hospital every day for 4 months and eating hospital food was the beginning. While I was in mourning for him, I started eating for comfort. When I finally sold our home and moved up here to my double wide, to be nearer two of my daughters, I still had plenty of energy. Came in and painted the whole place before the furniture in storage arrived. Planted my gardens, etc.
After reading Lauren's post and yours, it hit me! Eight years of personal upheaval, and worldwide upheaval pretty much did me in, as well as a lot of us out there!! Go figure!!!

5. Again I'm out of step

I managed to lose 3-4 pounds in the last 7 weeks. I couldn't get the scale to budge for about the last two years.

6. Yikes -- I thought it was just me.

I've put on somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 - 15 pounds just in the last few weeks -- and I hardly eat anything anymore because everything gives me heartburn. It scared me so badly, I went to see the doc and she didn't find anything -- told me it was stress.

My sinuses are giving me fits (ears stopped up and popping too) -- thought that was caused by the ragweed, but who knows? My back has been hurting for a couple of weeks -- not horribly, but I know it's there. I'm exhausted all the time, and constantly on the verge of tears. If I were a few years older I'd think it was menopause, but my doc assured me that wasn't it.

AND, to top it all off, I have stinkin' pink eye. WTF!?!?!?!?!?

Y'all, I feel like I'm falling apart.

Any good vibes or energy would be so appreciated.

That pink eye is a bitch! I had it once so bad, that it permanantly affected my tear ducts! When I blow my nose, air "whistles" out of my eyes !! I made the mistake of using a prescription medication, that was given to my stepson (who spread his to me via the steering wheel of his van!!!!) This was a very bad idea, because it didn't work, and made things worse. When I got my own "scrip" from my eye doctor, it healed it, but too late for my tear ducts !! Wash your hands OFTEN !!That shit spreads like wildfire! Love and light to you and yours!

It hurts like hell. Had to go see my eye doc today for a contact fitting, and I called early to cancel the appointment because my right eye was hurting so bad I knew there was no way I would be able to put contacts in there. They said come on in anyway and let them look at it, and that's what the doc found -- gave me antibiotic drops, told me to stay away from people for a couple of days, wash my hands a lot, throw away my mascara, and wash all my make-up brushes (which I do anyway -- I'm a make-up artist). The thing is, I haven't been around any children in at least a month -- can't figure out how I caught this nasty stuff.

Sorry your tear ducts were affected when you had it -- that sounds annoying. Does it hurt when the air comes through them?

10. No, it never hurt........

but it sure was embarrassing for a long while. It seems to have tapered off with age, plus I haven't had a really bad cold in a long time. (now I'm in for it!) You don't need to be around kids. My step son was a grown man, and I just drove his van. Germs were all over his steering wheel! You could have gotten them from any door handle, shaking hands, etc. P.S. In addition to the air coming out of the ducts, if my eyes were teary, they would bubble !!!!! Too crazy to be true, but 'tis.

11. Sometimes it seems as though

the weight one person loses winds up on someone else.

Myself, I've taken off about twenty five pounds in the past nine months or so. And I did it the old-fashioned way: eating less. I cook almost all of my own food, meaning I rarely eat out, have not had fast food of any kind in all that time -- haven't been to a McDonald's in particular in several years. By doing all of my own cooking I get to control portions, which is very important. I also am not consuming unknown quantities of who-knows-what?

My other thing is that I weigh myself every single day, and do not freak out at the normal day-to-day fluctuations everyone has.
