Glitches happen all the time with our sped-up and computerized society, so I really don't attribute them to anything other than...glitches. :)

I'm kind of spacey at the best of times. :P I just could be oblivious...

I actually had some good things happen this past Mercury Rx. I'm very grateful. :hi:

some MFRs affect me worse than others. An odd thing that happens during most of them is that I find myself getting annoyed at one specific person or friend, and becoming extremely introspective. I call it my hermit phases. LOL.

9. Good.
We almost had a tsunami on our coast here. It turned out to be a higher tide than usual and is now subsiding. I guess Mercury is going out with a blast, meaning the earthquake in the Pacific that caused the tsunamis.

10. Well...
It's certainly having an...interesting effect in the MG household. After spending quite a while making a grand effort of just "taking the money and running" so to speak, Mr. MG, the very day Mercury went direct, announced that he couldn't take his work situation anymore and was going to actively start looking for a new job.

His news didn't exactly come as a shock, because I know how frustrated he has been at his current job lately, but I found it fascinating that once Mercury straightened out, he suddenly started getting proactive (hate that word but it applies here) about changing his situation, especially as he has a tendency to drag his heels about taking any action in ANY situation whatsoever (not just employment). His sudden intensity about it reminded me of greyhounds being let out of their gates in a race.

P.S. Stella pegged this two years ago, BTW. She looked at our charts back then and said that Mr. MG would be "all right at his job...for now..." At the time I couldn't envision him NOT liking his job, but it certainly worked out exactly that way. Excellent work, Stella! :hi:

What about you and your writing? did you feel like you had a weird time this month? I was sure unable to rub 2 wOrds together & create a spark!

My man decided to go to the Level One classes with the group I have been learning with...and it took very little encouragement! yay!

...and he pointed out last night that we were so afeared of the evils of September when we read our horrorscopes...but thankfully it really went by quick & we are DONE! :woohoo:

I've given him dope slaps plenty of times for being angry about something at work and bringing it home (acting out, being grumpy). It's like having a second kid, I swear...

Luckily there wasn't much going this month, writing wise, so I didn't have to worry about it. My gravy-train job is undergoing a "redesign" of the magazine (out of a panic about the economy--tch tch they should know better). It'll be interesting to see how that works out, as they hashed out the redesign DURING Merc ret (again, they should know better...) I hope they give it up as a bad job once they realize they're making a mess of things. I think their plans will unravel because of Merc ret influencing their efforts, but we might not see that outcome for a while.

Yes, I am glad September is over! It wasn't too bad, other than hubby losing our debit card while on his vacation, but we only had to put a block on it for a few days till the restaurant where he left it mailed it home. There's something to be said for keeping one's head down and riding out a storm with little effort--and without calling attention to oneself for any reason! :D

On edit: Aaaannnd here we go--the profound lesson of expecting abundance during acceleration periods--just got an e-mail from MG Jr's scoutmaster asking about my proofing and editing rates for his day job! He must have followed my Web page link at the bottom of my e-mail as the pack all e-mails each other trying to set up a time for the first Tiger Cub meeting!

13. Ya NL, I think so too
was thinking about those quakes and looking at the platemaps. I think the west coast needs to brace itself, there has been alot of activity over the summer in indonesia, india, etc... (and those were the areas of the eclipses too...hmmm)
the pressure is moving and we are overdue on this part of the continent. (Sorry to be a debbie downer. it's my desire for catastrophe, like slowing down to look at car accidents, side of self)

12. Not convinced yet... but there is a glimmer of hope
I mopped the floors, cleaned the bathroom & kitchen, put up haloween decorations, got a fire going and finally burned the receipts & personal paper junk that has been sitting around all summer, baked cookies AND even managed a healthy yummy dinner of leftovers...

Quite productive yesterday, for sure

Now, tody I am back "on the job" at my desk and supposed to be rewriting a research paper/project and prepping for the grantwriting aspect and budget needs....
Let's see if I can put more than two words together!!!

Honestly, the draft I presented Monday was like a 6th grader wrote it! LOL
I am looking forward to having my brain 'clear out' so that I can be coherent with my projects and make some MONEY! finally!
Strangely enough, the sinus infection and pluggin of my ear is finally healed and i finished antibiotics yesterday too
AND started my Intuition/Medittion Level 3 class Monday evening and had a really big and wonderful visioning session!
AND I called the central HR Director for the Newspaper group I've been trying to get a job with and followed up about getting an interview, etc...(I submitted my resume right before the retro, and the MG Editor has been putting me off and just revealed it's because she is leaving the paper...so I felt no guilt in going over her head)

yay! I really do enjoy it when the planets get in tune! lol
but Rick, isn't there still something to watch out for? Just in case...

you'd better get THAT thought outta your head right now! (I don't have a degree and I am not manager material...yet! ;) )

but hey, i'll take city editor, which is like assistant coach...
all the people I formerly worked with or 'knew' over there are gone - either retired, laid off or left on their own...I wonder if that means I could walk in and make a NEW Name for myself, and no longer be seen as the 'rookie' or if it means the paper is folding and the rats are jumping ship...?

we shall see....

I was wiring up an second tv from the cable modem/splitter,etc. ANd we dared not try to find all the parts, etc. PRE mercury rx. I told my girl, it'll work like a charm now that it's direct.

It did.

Thank you for the compliments.

I'm working on getting a newsletter out, but I just don't have much energy. I have a tidbit. I am reading again on the phone mostly.

Merc Retro impacts transportation and communication, right?

Yesterday, transportation budgets at both my state and the federal level were in total jeopardy. Literally in danger of having NO MONEY come October 1. Today there are glimmers of hope on both fronts, although it's still far from certain what the outcome will be.

The federal transportation budget is the best, though. Without getting into too much arcane detail, let me just say that they're not actually even arguing about funding levels, but just extending what is already in place for a little while so they can figure out something more permanent. They're just arguing about how long to extend things (3 months or 18). So, as a stopgap, the House passed a 1 month budget extension the day before yesterday, but in their haste to accomplish something - anything! - to buy some time, they made a critical typographical error in the bill. As passed, it references the wrong section and if enacted will still, as a result, provide NO MONEY on October 1.

So they passed a correction, and the Senate has to pass the correction first, and then the actual continuing resolution, or there will still be NO MONEY for transportation on October 1. And they have to do all that by today at 5:30 p.m. The Senate, anyway. They can throw some new thing at the House who will stay later if they have to, but come midnight we all turn into pumpkins.

This is why I love my job.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

It's almost enough to make me love Mercury Retrograde. Talk about messing with transportation and communication. Never doubt the power of the Merc Retro.

Both at the state and the federal level they simply passed one month budget extensions. Kick the can down the road and come October 31 we'll be right back here again.

When's the next Mercury Retrograde?

33. Getting there,
although I have to admit this Merc was not too bad, except during the times it RAN OVER my 26 Virgo ascendant. Seemed to be worse right before it went retro (mid-August & and then the last week of retro, end of September)

But I still get the feeling the planets are "irritable." So Rick, what's Saturn in Libra mean for those of us that have Libra in our charts? (Moon in Libra here)

:hi:

37. OMG
I don't even want to address that yet. It will be a Saturn return for me, square my Sun, square my Ascendant, oppose my Jupiter, square my Uranus and sextile my Moon.

It's all good though.

It means GET IT TOGETHER IN ALL OF YOUR RELATIONSHIPS (Libra). Among many other things.

It will be squaring Pluto for all of us and opposing Jupiter and Uranus in newly Aries.

There will much to cover in the near future.
As always, take responsibility for everything in your life and all will be happier (Saturn)

among many other things is:

get your home life straight
and get your emotions straight

but most of all, it probably means STOP COMPROMISING so much.

that is the lesson I've been trying to learn my whole life - with Moon in Libra and Virgo rising, would you expect anything else? I seriously need to look out for number one right now and do for myself.

My moon is 25'56" Libra, so I guess this will hit me hardest in Dec. 2011. :yoiks:
