Astrologers, why all the shootings?

Is it Saturn doing something? Or, can we blame Mercury? There has been a full moon. Could a combination of these factors be in play?

1. I don't think any one transit can really be blamed for these events,

and no astrologer here can truly offer up "explanations" without the individual charts of the parties involved, however...these are the kind of events I tend to notice pop up more frequently when the Sun is transiting the sign of Scorpio (transformation, violence, physical death). And no, that doesn't mean I think this factor alone is "responsible" for Ft. Hood and Orlando, or could have been used to predict them. Rick, at least, will probably mention the upcoming Saturn/Pluto square.

but the shooter in the Fort Hood event is a very troubled, somewhat fractured man. He has his share of "density".

It's so much like a tranquil aquarium that got stirred up to clean it up. In the meantime the residents have an unpleasant time until everything is washed off and fresh water replaces the stagnant, stale water.

17. To those who cannot possibly "get it"...

I am not talking about myself.

If you payed attention to my blog, which is very basic yet entirely empiric through my own experience/insight, it is not possible to continue surviving much longer if harboring these sorts of determined, deep negativities. Period. If it -is- possible, it will be with increasing distress. I am working on recovery and simply wish to be left alone. I do not expect to be believed (and obviously will not be), yet allow the actuality to be the proof of the pudding. If I can survive, I am changed and dedicated to positive change. There it is. 3. We are very close to the saturn/pluto square right now

and historically saturn/pluto has brought us similar episodes. 9-11 was famously comitted during the opposition in 2001.

I'm sure there other factors, but it's where I would start looking at it.

edit to add: I have no idea what they Ft. Hood's guy's motives were, but the media seem to be trying to steer it into 'terrorism' terrtory. Haven't heard enough about the other to draw a conclusion yet.

4. Talked to my employer, a doctor, who also has some training in mental

illness. He thinks the guy was mentally disturbed and that the availability of drugs and a certain amount of paranoia may have tipped him over. But I like to look at what the stars may point to as well.

13. The guy is definitely disturbed. Lots in his head, very intense thoughts

not always shared with his cohorts. Some dichotomy there...and Juno, very true and extremely disgusting, how the media are attempting to make this into a terrorist fiasco. It only takes one look at this man to say "uh-oh, many hidden thoughts, intensity, could be trouble...".

Please pray for him and for those he's harmed...

19. For some reason I wanted to re-stress the "dichotomy" part.

I don't know why. Perhaps he's going to be given a schizophrenic diagnosis or similar. His photo is very uncomfortable to look at. It seems that his thoughts aren't matching reality, or, what he wants doesn't match reality to the extent that he went the way he did. The top of his head is seemingly separated, turned inside-out, energy-wise. Extending out several inches, obviously and brightly. Thoughts turning in upon themselves, upon himself. This is a characteristic of "mental illness", or mental illness as understood by our troglodytic "society". Which usually causes the mental illnesses it fears and shuns (excepting chemical imbalances). Feh.

He's not "gone" like Manson, but twisted up enough for this to happen.

15. I wouldn't be surprised if it was drugs in some way.

Perhaps Jupiter conjunct Neptune and chiron, conflating his paranoia and drug habit and presenting healing issues...the other guy in Fla was proabaly paranoid too and had mental drug/doctor/healing issues as well.


On edit: I'm just suddenly struck by how the media are trying to paint this into a propaganda terrorism/saturn pluto mold rather than letting it be something that highlights the healing crisis in the current aquarian stellium.

Then comes again Jan. 31, and August 21, 2010. These two Bad Boys mean business, and in combo can produce fanaticism (both bad and good). It is likely to get a lot heavier, the harsh part of transition...Keep on breathing, keep on holding the vision of a world that works, and working toward it...

Given that this segues into the uranus-pluto square, I can imagine just about anything happening and a totally changed landscape in some way or another by 2015 or so.

We are due for a sea change.

5. It's one of the subseries of Saturn square Pluto

and it was sparked by yesterday's Tsquare to the Sun in Scorpio.
The "background theme" is all that matters here, i.e., Pluto in Capricorn, i.e., Saturn in Libra, i.e., Saturn square Pluto.

It's all the same, just small, different episodes. Mars is usually involved with guns. Most of the time with Uranus. In yesterday's shooting, Mars got involved in a Tsquare, Mars opposite Jupiter to the Sun in Scorpio.

Also, the continual tension of Uranus opposite Saturn keeps a background overall pressure - it doesn't take much to tweak that into frustrated output.

So unfortunate.

This would manifest in his chart, if we could ever get his birthdate. Other times, like in the Holocaust, it doesn't have to show up in an "individual's" chart; it operates on the collective level.

No you can never blame Mercury, Venus, or the Moon, they just "trigger" the hour/minute of the event.

It's ALWAYS the big boys, Chiron, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune or Pluto
