So I'm reading the new book "The Power"by the "Secret "author(s)..

It had jumped out at me from the shelf at Target. As much as I enjoyed The Secret stuff and took some good lessons away from it; I agree with some here who did not really jive with the whole thing. Sometimes it seems as if the path one takes in life is a little more complicated than that. However, this seemed to have been placed in my way, so I went ahead and got it.

I think, to me, this is the book she meant to write.

It's all about choosing love in one's life, and the power that choosing love has to radically transform your life. It concentrates on this one emotion and how to get to it; how to choose it every moment of every day.

I know this has been pointed out many times by many enlightened people, but I think this is the way *I* get to really envision it as the central force in my life. I've always known that's why I chose to be here..to express love..but this is going to help me to choose it in as many thoughts and actions as possible. That's what I really need. I never realized how often I was choosing a thought that was not loving (either of myself, a situation, or of others). I found some answers in this book I didn't know I was looking for.

It's not the be-all-end-all; but it's definitely a step in the right direction for me. I recommend a perusal of it to see if it rings any of your bells. (Beware, though..the hardback is $16!! LOL).

2. I agree 100%, lildreamer.

This has become so clear to me this year, and I realize that I have to do this even when others don't agree with my decision to do so. It's so simple, and it's about every action we take.

It's important to note that choosing love doesn't mean that we enable others or accept others' bad behavior. It just means that we consciously choose the highest path, which sometimes means saying "no" or "stop" since doing so is for the highest good of all involved. When it's for the highest good, it's a love-based decision.

3. Cool, I'll get it

As much as I love the principles I adopted from the Secret, I didn't like how it was designed to appeal to people's greediness for mansions and fast cars. I met several self proclaimed spiritual people who had only become spiritual for their own personal gain and basically told me they didn't really care about anyone else. However, I recommend the Secret to people all the time as the understanding of manifestation and the law of attraction, I strongly believe, is something we all need to become aware of. Hopefully, this is the book I can recommend instead.

6. There's only one thing

in the book that may be hard for some to accept: she says that the only reason that we have such extreme wealth inequality (that the top 1% have so much of the money) is that they have been very good at being money magnets by expressing love to money. I can see that some will be irritated by such a statement. I'm choosing to not concentrate on other ppl's money attraction factors and only on my own love quotient.

4. That actually interests me

considering how much higher in vibration I found The Master Key System to be, compared to The Secret (upon which it is based). The Master Key System can be downloaded for free on many internet sites.

Interesting now that the 4th Dimension (Love) is extant, it is bubbling up and beginning to clear away the detritus of fear. Get on the "right" side, as they say, and go with the winning team, which is love.

at the science fiction hardcovers..I just usually wait for anything like to come out in paperback these days. Easier to store, too..( I have a lot of books!)

The Greatest Manifestation Principle in the World by..Sage(last name) I'm going to make a decision as to whether it might be worth it or not. Anyone else read it?
