3. It's the evolution of my day thus far....
I'm pretty much down to the "drinking" emoticon. I'm not there yet, but anticipate proceeding as the emoticons do after having a drink later today.

As of right now, I'm starting all over again at step one with the explosion again.

:grr:

7. Aww, sweetie, I'm sorry you're having a rough time.
Will some Reiki energy help? And a big  ?

Booze doesn't usually help much, so I don't recommend. Chocolate, on the other hand, solves a multitude of ills...I'm just sayin'.

8. LOL....

I know. :( I was kidding about a drink (well, one little glass of cabernet is indeed in my plans this evening but that's all.

Thanks...:loveya:

Actually, I came back to share this, as it just came in from email and feels SO perfect:

I love intenders.org and highly recommend it to others. Thanks again, kookaburra.

The Bridge ~ Step 48 ~ Meditation

You are your attention

The greatest battles being fought are not upon the deserts, forests and fields of Earth but within the human mind. You see, our minds are fair game for anyone who is unscrupulous or unconscious enough to want to take our attention away from us. We are our attention and to the extent that another can get us to put our attention on whatever he or she chooses, we give away a part of ourselves - the most vital part, in fact.

It's interesting that taking someone else's attention away from them has become a widely accepted occurrence in our world today. Most people don't mind at all; they accept that others can interrupt them, regardless of the motivation. Indeed, many people's lives are filled to the brim by constant distraction, and sadly, they never get control over their own attention. That's where meditation comes in. Meditation is the tool we use to regain control over our own mind.

Just before he took his leave, Lee Ching said that a second way to support life is to spend some quiet time alone everyday. This idea sounded a little odd to me at first, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that those who meditate daily are much less likely to become involved in conflicts. They're calmer, less excitable, and, even more important, they're more apt to see things from a higher perspective. Later on, he told me that this is why those who seek to manipulate us don't want us to meditate because it makes us more difficult to control. Meditators aren't as reliant upon others to tell them what to do because they're cultivating their own inner independence. Compared to most people, they're a lot freer.

11. Amazing! About 1/2 an hour ago
I decided to take 1/2 the day off from work and just be well. Be with myself. Drew the curtains, lit my candles, dropped some essential oils into them, heated up some chicken soup and made a nice pot of tea.

Came back to check on ASAH before more clearing my mind some more, and I see this lovely post. Well, I'm hurrying off to do nothing :) Be Well, OGR

Perhaps the "light bulb" emoticon would have been more appropriate.

;)

Alcohol is definitely not the answer. :)
