Mixing astrology and light-working - it's time we start our own revolution
Even though some eras in astrology are difficult...
and even though some times are trying...

all the planets are indicating is fluxes in life energies

We have known for a long time that things "need to change."

Now, we find ourselves in the middle of it.

WE have to make noise
WE have to tell it like it is
WE have to start our own version of WISHADOO

Maybe we should start with WISHADON'Ts and mail a bunch of flyers to the GOP
Maybe we should start by speaking out against people who won't think
Maybe we should cause a ruckus?
Start your own newsletters and fill them with passionate truth

Truth cannot be held down
Aren't we all SICK OF ALL THE FRIGGIN LIES THAT ABOUND?

Isn't this disgusting how the best president we have had since FDR is having to face so much
hatred, ignorance and injustice, besides the racism?

WE have to speak louder than phony TV networks
WE have to speak against the goofs

Astrology says now is the time
They are not going to fool around
It's time we do the same

Being quiet and peaceful doesn't always work, lets show the world our strength. We don't have to be violent or ugly about it...

The revolution is at hand - there are many types going on at once
It is time we speak up, all of us, we need us.

Yea us! :bounce:

1. I could use some help with my doing...
Edited on Thu Nov-04-10 12:28 PM by OneGrassRoot
Rick, I hope you don't mind me putting this here.

For those ready to speak up and DO, I agree....it's time!!! And, yay us!!! :bounce:

Dudes and dudettes, I'm so ready to DO, but I need help....

I'm STILL struggling with technical/programming help. I swear, as soon as someone comes along, they end up drowning in their own life crises within days of diving in.

We all know how that is; these spirals of challenges come so fast these days...:(...and I don't want to think I'm jinxing people or anything but...:eyes:.

This is one project that I can't get ready on my own; that's hard for me to admit, but I need help with Wishadoo, and it's technical help that I need. There are tweaks needed before I can really get this baby going and help more and more people and start creating these authentic communities (there's so much more to Wishadoo than meets the eye; there are aspects that I want to roll out that aren't even hinted at there yet ;)).

If I could have prayers, good vibes, you guys reaching out to find programmers who could possibly help...anything...I would surely appreciate it.

:grouphug:

I am anxious to support what others are creating or dreaming of creating and doing. When I can finally get the last task list done and things are more situated, with the foundation finally set, I promise that my whole being will be devoted to supporting the efforts of others completely and more effectively.

Well, beyond what the work that puts food on the table and my daughter require. ;)

:loveya:

EDIT TO ADD: This isn't even a $$ thing. Even when programmers are being paid, their quoted rate, the same pattern is happening. They end up going *poof* before they really make any headway at all. I don't get negative feedback (about the project being too complicated or that I'm being too demanding or anything), they just fade away as they get lost in their own daily survival. :(

14. Those knowledgeable in both advanced WordPress and a program called...

phpFox.

A dear friend is back on board...but I need to raise money to be able to keep him, as he -- like most of us -- is in dire straights financially.

But, as of today, he is helping with these programming issues. Prayers that all flows well are most appreciated.

:hi:

13. Here is my initiative...............
And I have been waiting for the right moment. It IS here!
I was pressured to run for State Senate in Feb. I did really well with support from my neighbors........( a feather since I am "from Away" & from NJ at that. That's almost as bad as being black in Alabama 50 years ago.)
! 1/2 weeks later I attended an appearance by our gubernatorial candidate and wound up at a Rotary Dinner. A flash sweeping moment of prescience came over me & I decided to step out of the race it wasn't for me, my skill sets............etc.
In returning the clean election fund contributions..I had a conversation with our International Worm Dealer, a local guy educated in marine biology and pro green, influencing about 70 worm diggers who supply him. He appreciated my integrity in returning the funds, we decided that we need to start a Youth Civics Group as the kids aren't getting much civics in school. They are totally disinterested and detached from the process of being Democratic citizen participants.
The idea is gathering interest, as I talk it up.
Then last week I expanded the idea into having cartooning classes, & producing regular Graphic Novels.....with REAL NEWS!
< During the 2004 election we Dean Meet-up group produced monthly, a 4 page paper called "More Common Sense" The kids could learn GD software & publishing while HAVING to research FACTS, history, politics, doing something they consider fun. I have 4 old computer with GD software, that have been bypassed by upgrades but still good for desktop publishing, if not the Web![br />Thurs when I went tio pick up my box at the food pantry........I talked it up....got the DIrector's interest. Perhaps it could be done though AmeriCorps VISTA program, joined with their nonprofit.
I think this is the way to go..educate the kids and get the news out............
I think most of you are my facebook friends now. If you aren't come-on over............

2. I hear you, Rick.
I've been calling senators and reps like crazy for almost 2years. Called McConnell's office just before the election about the 1-term presidency statement. I'm sure he responded afterward waiting for the results - the chicken heart - and it was not what I wanted to hear, but I'm sure A Lot of people called him on it.

Started calling the Republicans in my state telling them the results were NOT because they have a mandate on anything but to stop obstructing.

4. I feel the need to act also.....one issue I want resolved is the
Bush tax cuts....I want Obama to let the upper 2% tax cuts expire...the country needs the money...he can do this in the lame duck session...worst case..let them all expire.

not sure any of this makes sense...just know the time is now for action...corrective action..

going to the rally opened a door in me that has been closed..
maybe this new thinking/action will be a result.

5. Call the White House and let them know.
Get others who feel the same to call. It feels like spinning my wheels sometimes But if you have the need to do so, do it and don't stop. I know "my" Rep. Darrell Issa is sick of me. Do you have a local Democratic Party or Democratic Party Club, join it and see how else to get involved. I know how you feel and I agree, now more than ever we have to act even if it's an incessant barrage of opinions.

8. Just so nobody misunderstands me
Edited on Thu Nov-04-10 03:23 PM by MorningGlow
I've been advocating for detachment and not expending unnecessary energy in other threads. And I just want to make sure that my point is absolutely clear--I am not recommending no action. I am instead recommending WISE USE of energy. Not flailing, but instead focused activity--focused where it will make the most progress.

'Kay, I'm done! :hi:
