here's my new house story:

We took a trip in April to scope out towns in SE NM to move into and the only one that "felt" right was Carlsbad. So we spent an entire weekend (300 miles on the car) driving around the county and getting a feel for where we could get properties that met our needs for business and my DH's hobby of astronomy.

we had a specific budget we wanted to stay in to pay cash for the home and be completely out of debt with the sale of our PHX home (which is a whole other synchronicity saga..)

we kept coming back to a certain area SW of town but the three properties for sale were either 1)too expensive, 2)too small, 3)in horrible condition or 4)not in the correct location for our needs. there was this one road we drove down 3 or 4 times and every time we'd say "Man it's too bad none of these places are for sale, this is perfect" but alas, no available properties at all.

On the ride home we kept saying "Our new home just isn't listed yet, the Universe will take care of us." over and over

I have been following the Carlsbad Real Estate market online now since March and every thing that looked like it MIGHT work was about $15-25K higher than what we really wanted to spend. :cry:

so Thursday we head back to NM to find a house. Our PHX house is in escrow and we will be homeless July 10th unless we find something we can move right into.

Wednesday before heading out, I pull up the Carlsbad RE listings and look for "only listed in the last 14 days" and get 3 hits. 2 of them were out of the question for one reason or another and one was a definite "maybe" but we really thought we'd found an old farmhouse that might work

so we get there, the "old farmhouse" had two working gas derricks ON THE PROPERTY and was literally falling off it's foundations. Strike One

so the realtor says "Let's go check this property we just listed" and sure enough it's on the exact road we wanted, for less than we thought we'd have to spend and we can put a bunch of $$$ into repairs and remodeling and still stay right where we wanted to be, cash wise.

Coincidence? or just the Universe being extremely efficient to bring the highest good to both the sellers and to us? and wanna hear the kicker?? The sellers signed the listing agreement the same week (4 days later) we had been in Carlsbad in April, but didn't put the listing up til last weekend so they could do some upgrades to the property.

and that's how manifestation works in my life, over and over and over again. :hi:
