First of all thinking back on it.. this spell really DOES sound like a country song in reverse..

First step..
Get some regular unlined white paper and a pen.Any pen.
I did mine on a sheet of paper from a pharmacy company ad sticky pad for some kind of depression medicine. If you use a psych medicine ad like I did be sure to tear off the drug company logo, the sticky part and pill pusher advertisement parts.
Set the paper and pen aside,

Next get a small finger bowl, or any small container that won't
absorb oils that your finger can fit into easy, like say, a bottle cap. Put a small drop of each of these prepared traditional magical oils, into the bowl. If two drops fall out sometimes don't sweat it just move to the next vial and keep dropping, assume it was needed.

Fiery wall of protection oil (it's usually bright orange color,duh it's for protection)

Black Destroyer oil( for causing destruction where it needs to be had to free yourself and to help you see the destruction you have had done to you) This oil kicks ass..A link about it and to where to get some..

Bottom #20 oil( a serious obstacle remover and enchantment breaker oil.)

Condition oil(removes potential problems that could get in your way including anxiety driven problems in your own head,and it protects against psychic attack)

Tiger oil(for courage and skillful means)

Reversal oil(to reverse any negativity or bad magick the ex may want to toss my way I added this oil because my ex is also a magickian so I wanted to be ready for anything, so it may not apply to your situation use your own discretion on it.)

Van Van oil ( to make the spell work fast and for a fast confirmation too)


Than add these Essential oils 1 drop of each in the bowl

Hyacinth oil(happiness,new beginnings)
Yarrow oil (for insight/foresight)
Olive oil what you'd use to cook with is fine(for wisdom)
Vetiver oil (enhances financial survival in time of need)
Spearmint oil(for cooling angry hot emotions down and after all it is SPEARmint..a reference to Sekhmet's protective functions)

Get out something to crush herbs/resins into a fine powder..mortar
and pestle, a rock, a rolling pin? If you use something you usually use with food ,just to be safe,cover the resins and stuff with wax paper before you crush it up and scrub the rolling pin off with hot water & soap immediately when you are done.Some of these resins taste really crappy.

Add these crushed resins /herbs to the oils.

Dragon's blood resin ,take a small piece and grind it really fine so it's suspended in the oils(for strength and for Sekhmet)A stick of dragon blood incense ground up would work here too.
Honey(for invoking Sekhmet's healing aspect, add as much honey as you feel is warranted)
Frankincense resin( for clarity)
Myrrh ( for cleansing of area and negativity exorcism and it is antibacterial so it can remove/heal diseases, mental or physical you may have gotten by associating yourself with a toxic person)
Copal resin ( for negativity removal around you, your home etc,and it is a source of Chuel energies for Chiliam Balaam/First Jaguar & Tezcatlipoca/ Smoking Mirror, whom brings the underground up to visibility and calls ancestor supports/vision serpents)
High John the Conquerer root, just a small piece & grind it fine.(for overcoming and convincing the ex he might not want to mess around with you because it sends the message to an enemy that you have overcame already).

Go back to your paper, write down everything you want BACK in your life,that's missing,neglected or suppressed and add on what you need in your life for building up yourself ,especially note the things that tending the sick relationship and placating the jerk took away from you inside. it might look something sorta like...

I want my self confidence back,
I want to feel at peace in my home,
I want to feel happy being alone,
I want to have friends again..

Etc Etc..
List as many things as you want or can cram onto the paper.

Doing this spell can get emotional as the oils scents effects you,and you read what you wrote and the magnitude of the loss hits you if tears hit the paper who cares,leave them there.Than after you wrote all your stuff down anoint each request line one by one with the oils and stuff,in the bowl dipping each time, reinforcing certain things with extra oil for emphasis,as you imagine what it would be like if that particular loss was not missing now. Than think of everything you didn't do because of him,or his demands that overruled your needs,and because you dreaded dealing with his crap..This part can stir up alot of emotions. Accept whatever emotion it is do not SUPPRESS IT or control it. If it's violent it's violent, so? DO Trust Spirit to know what to do with it..do not stifle your emotional voice again no matter how intense it is , for your voices have been stifled for too long ,that's part of the problem..you are trying to fix.

Than when every-things anointed ,take the greasy paper ,fold it up
put it in a zip-lock baggie, hide it if you have to, or just sit it somewhere off to the side,and forget about it and let it sit there.

Suddenly you will be impulsed one day out of the blue to burn it, the urge will be strong, and you will remember exactly where you put it too. Even if the day or week before the paper hadn't crossed your mind at all.

When it's time, you will know, listen to the impulse..to finish this thing. Go get a cauldron, a lidded pot,or burn it in a safe place like a kitchen sink(DO remember turn off your smoke alarms for this) or burn it outside but where you can catch the ash.

Now, Unfold the paper..DO NOT spear it with an athame.
Instead grab it by a corner, light it, it will burn surprisingly fast when the flames get too close for comfort drop the burning paper.Let it totally ash.

Scoop up those ashes and they'll be greasy, put the ash in your palm crush it to soot.. first anoint over YOUR bedroom door with it than,.. anoint over all the home entrance doors of where you live with it,on the outside sides..And if you have a car I suggest you anoint that, than anoint anything that is special to you & personal, that he had no interest in or callously disregarded..
You are energizing your stuff so it will create a net of your own good memories,a net of your strength that is YOURS alone, all connected to meaningful things and a future desire that can connect only to YOU.
It will support your escape, protect you and urge the abuser's leaving atherically . And it will remind you of the power and riches that are YOURS and always were yours that you forgot about as he leaves. If there's any leftover ashes in your hand, toss them into the wind outside and wipe the last of the residue off in the grass.
Go inside wash your hands off, declare it finished..Go in splash your face, with cold water to break out of the magical mind-state and than do something mundane and distracting like eat,shower, clip your toenails,watch the daily show,scoop the cat-boxes.Go on DU and get yourself pissed off at B*sh again.whatever...

1. hey just a thought

instead of writing 'i want' which implys, well, WANT - write 'I have' or something of the like.

and DAMN! how can you afford all those different oils! I took Cat Yronwode's mojo course, she's pretty tight-lipped about how she makes her oils. I think she teaches the course to get more buyers for her oils and powders, etc. LOL. They're great quality though.

2. I got friends

also I get the essentials mix them up myself. There are plenty of recipe books if you know where to look .Some of the commercial oils are really cheap they don't put much essential in it, and it's a scam because trusting spirit is what it all comes back to. Often I follow my intuition.That makes for the most kick ass stuff. I have collected my oils for years. I mean YEARS. I fridge them they are cold kept in the dark.

Oils can last sometimes 5 years or more if they are stored right.
You could do the same spell I did and not use ANY oils you know. I used them because I had them. So I put it there, But what is most valuable in the spell was is the INTENT,the intensity of the desire, the writing of it and sending of the intent in the flames and letting go of the whole thing.

And..Don't bother with courses that charge a shit load as if they had secrets to tell,they don't have anything to tell that isn't already within you, They just got shit to sell.
There are plenty of spiritual people that give classes for free.
I teach anyone for free.I have tossed ghosts out, done soul retrievals,extractions you name it for total strangers because they came to me and asked,for help. They didn't know me, I had no clue who they were but something inside them motivated them to ask me for help they say..So I do it.

It costs me nothing to go over someone's house for a half hour with a crystal and an athame, some salt and cleanse it and giving away 4 bay leaves won't break the bank.
But what matters is THEY feel better, their kids can sleep..And it made their lives feel better and that makes me happy to do it all again, for free!


Spirit isn't like a commodity of this world.I take that to heart, spirit isn't like this world so in my mind to charge money for showing people infused with spirit already how to work with spirit which IS free, see it work in their life when I know damn well spirit is everywhere is well to me blasphemous.


Spirit installed inside all of us as a birthright abilities to make worlds within a world within without,whatever.And the Archon mind is the issue, it tries to short circuit us from seeing out of it's traps, and from where I am what really shackles us to control consciousness is our own BELIEFS the archon fed us through our lives. The archon that controls everything here in material land by invoking scarcity,by playing a role of luck or fortune, or dominator and a few others.

Really it is a weak blind greedy half maker ..And true spirit is not like that..Spirit can work beyond and through the archon sometimes.Trusting spirit will is the biggest challenge to overcoming the beliefs that look so real that block spirit from moving through and getting what you need to you.

I make a little over 500 bucks a month. Sometimes its hard to make it..I have hilarious stories about how I made things stretch,like my roommate and I being stuck eating stale blue corn chips for bfast,lunch and dinner for two days and being so overjoyed to find a little container of oriental dipping sauce the last day,because I was really getting sick of stale chips,and eating those chips and nothing else for 2 days made us loopy so watching mystery science theater that night was like watching it stoned.We laughed our asses off. It was like being in a ren and stimpy cartoon when we were rationing stale corn chips and playing monopoly to pass the time while it was like 100 degrees outside.I actually cherish that memory.The air conditioning bill is what broke us up..

or when I went to a nearby mc donalds like 20 times in one day because I had the shits and no toilet paper at my house, and I was broke until the next day.What Could I do? That nasty circumstance caused me to I meet a great friend there.I also got ALOT of exercise. The guy I met that day was fascinated with my blue Mohawk hair,he noticed I was coming in there alot and asked if I was ok, I told him the truth,and he gave me one of those GIGANTIC 2 foot wide industrial rolls of TP told me to put it in my satchel, and that roll lasted me over a whole month!
And I invited him to my place for dinner in thanks.. we are still friends.

But yeah it's scary letting go, when you believe you have to compete or charge people or you might be stuck with stale blue chips when you think money is the only way to survive..Not falling into the traps the archon sets up..trap you with fears of self survival or whatever so it can feed off your anguished energies so the archon can feel alive is the thing that makes this world csuck..When you play the Archons game by it's rules you are in IT'S world,dragging spirit into it's clutches with your fear and anxiety.

Stepping out of the archon world while being in THIS one..is what gets you free of it all. It ain't easy. Ain't comfortable all the time..We all are gonna die anyway why fear scarcity? shit happens. Yeah I get dragged into the archon world sometimes with PSTD but dammit it will not control me forever and it sure as hell won't make me desperate enough with illusions of scarcity or even real scarcity to control spirit through me by making me charge money for something like teaching people how to liberate themselves from this archon infested reality..

I have found because I give freely ,I find gifts "donated"like a fresh bottle of some oil,I was running low on..usually anonymously left on my porch or something.

I came in this world with nothing but my spirit, So I'll leave as a spirit.The oils ,the money, everything will be left behind .We all live on borrowed time, in a borrowed body , stuck in a circumstance we did not make and really can't control either by our own self. But spirit can work around that.But you have to let it do it.Because you can't.That's what magick is FOR.

If you lived near me, I'd teach you everything I know,attune you to a reiki master,and help you work with spirit in your own way,,all FREE.That's what it means to walk in TWO worlds. Spirit is free and so I bring spirit it's own,sparks, back home for free too . it's all about giving and getting Gifts.

3. I liked Cat's class - it was $1 a week for a year and worth every penny.

I learned lots of stuff about herbal and American 'folk' magic. I have plenty of experience in other types of magick.

anyway, I would avoid using the word 'want' in a ritual or spell. you'll get what you 'ask for'. :evilgrin:

5. Ok

Some people charge alot more than a buck a week.
The people that charge hundreds of dollars are the people I was referring to. I had no idea what cat charges.Glad she only charges a buck.

As for "want" in a spell what is so EVIL about admitting you are wanting, we all want things..It's human to want,it's part of having to deal with this material world.I think spirit is aware of this human condition that we are in. To pretend not to want when you asking spirit FOR something you desire to manifest IS just is another word for I want,.To deny your own intent isn't that well, lying?

When you covet it can be bad kind of coveting(jealousy) or a good kind of coveting (admiration imitation of someone whom you hold in high esteem). Good coveting makes you WANT to be better be it a better life,better situation,better finances, and there is nothing wrong with wanting that .If we did not want to better our lives as well as our spirits why bother to manifest ANYTHING?

ALL spells of any kind is about sending out an intention . Sending out an intent often means I WANT to change something that is not helping me or someone else . A spell says,you WANT some changes to happen.

So not getting hung up on how you say ' I want' will allow your intent to be clearer,at least to yourself.If are ashamed of your intent than look at that before you give spirit this long winding diatribe to avoid the so called dirty little truth that you want something from spirit. Language can be used to obscure yourself to your own intentions sometimes,and mask it as if you were ashamed of your own intention off wanting,out of reasons that have nothing to do with how things really are but everything to do with what you think and believe should be which sometimes has nothing to do with how things really are..or anything to do with your true intentions.

Spirit will regardless see right into your heart. The divine reads your spirit's intentions on a level far more sublime than your own words can say it.So it's no big deal to put in a spell the phrase"I want" ..I think spirit is more wise , just , understanding, and ancient than anything we know of and I am sure it would understand what we meant even deeper than we ourselves do,and it wouldn't quibble or be so petty as to get hung up over the verbal semantics of people crying out for help.Any god that wants pretty words and is so easily offended by wanting is no sort of god I can respect..That's why when I do a spell I do not pretend I am 'saintly' because if I did such a mind trip ,I know the types of spirits I work with would see right through it, and Sekhmet's voice would boom in my head ,"Oh You Hypocrite,(making a sound similar to a cat losing a hairball) cut it with the trite bullshit already,tell me what you really want!"

6. I didn't say 'evil' my dear

When you're doing ritual or spell work, you're focusing your WILL. You project into the future through visualization and a push of your will, this is true even if you're working directly with spirits.

Of course you start from a state of 'want' - you wouldn't be motivated to do the ritual if it was something you already had. But during the space of a ritual - that space which you've set apart as special - it's wise to choose your words well. Not because something outside you won't understand, but because WORDS HAVE POWER. *Especially* in ritual. Saying 'I want' doesn't imply the change you intend - you're left where you started, merely stating your condition of want. Do you see what I mean?

Next time you do ritual, try saying with conviction 'such and such "WILL" happen' - and really mean it. See if it doesn't change the results you get.

10. I guess we operate differently

For me discerning my will is about a stepped process , first I state what I want, than I state I will get it ,and lastly I know I have it, and once it's done I just wait..I see manifesting as not just a "finished thing" getting dropped out of the sky.I see it arriving. Like spirit saw my request arriving.

Magick has some limits,because reality does not always heed our wills like a servant , It has it's own will and balances to maintain. Remember the Feather of Maat? Also because reality is not "one" kind so magick sometimes does not work as you"willed". The best magickians that ever existed to be honest had a few duds too no matter which words they used.Intent is more powerful than words. I have done very effective workings without ANY words .I have seen we exist in a dual reality engaged in a fundamental conflict because of two kinds of spirit, two principles that are opposites . So for me I see myself as pulling what I want in to myself by reaching up through the aether's,and into my own'will' to fetch my intention, as Sekhmet hears ,steps down and hands it to me through me.

The smoking mirror concept, of as you reach into the mirror from here with a gift to spirit you are gifting your spirit aspects with what it wants, So as you reach in your mirrored soul is reaching out through the same mirror with another gift,for you which happens to be the one the you here wanted.

I dunno maybe it's because I have many people inside it works that way better for me. It's very accurate and I get fast results too, if there is no interferences, Sometimes there are because of the nature of this reality and I can take care of that most of the time..when I sense it..I make the Archon my sock puppet ..

I carry Sekhmet's image on me all the time and she told me she carries my image somehow with her.Because spirit for me is more interactive and mirroring that is how humans bond with others, and I find it's how spirit bonds to my spirit.,we both are speaking a two directional action, I found when I speak to spirit ,manifestation happens as a stepped process sorta like how my own unconscious perception gets to a threshold,than attention is drawn to it,than it's filtered up into conscious awareness, and thought than spoken...To spirit when I speak to it in a magickal context it returns to make a 'circuit'.And when that happens it gets intense. Weird shit has happened like a light bulb in my therapists office light catching fire,(it freaked him and me out.He had to get the fire extinguisher) the stereo turning itself on, the vacuum sitting in the closet turning on that was friggin unplugged..

That is why when I do magick I become like fire, I sweat and I shock people if they touch me when the circuit is going(it's awkward in a group ritual) , my body changes it's like it's molecules are breaking the pattern feeling..

This is the way magick works best for me, I see writing on my retinas, in bright flashes, symbols etc.(I keep a pad handy to write it down.)I hear Sekhmet, see her, when I reach up into the Aether's and I see her coming down to me into this reality by moving through the lightning in my eyes and my body becomes like a cable transmitting and receiving signals back and forth between here and there, like a waking dream.

When I see the spirit world overlapping this one it's like this reality backgrounds, it kinda "boils" and shimmers away until the spiritual reality that is usually the background becomes the foreground as my spirit eyes adjust it senses and interacts with both realities at the same time. It sometimes does this spontaneously when spirit needs to tell me something.When my ex and I had a decent relationship,long ago He would invoke energies to help me sleep when my sleep problem was being a pain in the ass or if I was sick. I saw the sigils he drew in his visualizations on my retinas. So I always knew what he was calling. I don't bother to draw the Reiki symbols anymore . Cause when I do Reiki because the symbols appear in my eyes as flashing light drawn symbols, so why draw it with my hand when it's already drawn in lightning?

4. Wow, U.P. !

This is very similar to what (I think) Cassiepriam advised me to do when I was having a rought spot (similar to Votesomemore's) back in August, but without the oils, etc.

I wrote a letter to the subject of my frustration - itermizing my intentions, frustrations and wishes - said a prayer over it and burnt it ... then scattered the ashes in a stream since water is apparently the carrier of spiritual intention.

Less than 72 hours later, Mr. Frustration called me and we finished things.

Even if he hadn't, just the process itself of getting the thoughts and energies out of my head and contained somewhere else, was so cleansing.

7. I don't know what this is in response to, but --

-- I can certainly use this. However, I do have a question or two, since I don't know what it is in response to.

I have a problem with a husband who depends on me financially, but thinks he doesn't. I'm kind of sick and work really hard, and he doesn't really work. He blames me for everything, and has driven us financially to the point where we're too poor to go bankrupt.

Where we live divorce is really, really expensive, and that is why I haven't done it yet. Every time I go to a lawyer, they tell me I'm going to be supporting him for a long time, because in this state they changed the laws to protect the women, who were stay at home wives, and those very laws will protect my husband. As if I asked him to stay home. They even say, you agreed to support him. I say, no, I didn't. I haven't really had a choice. Well, that's what they do in this state. It's a fifty fifty state. And I will have to pay alimony and even give him part of my pension.

We're too poor already. We're on the brink. Split us into two households, we will lose everything. We do have a daughter, about to be 13.

So, what will this do?

Is there a thread I can read? Dear Undergroundpanther, just tell me where to look....

and I don't think you are getting very good legal advice. You may have to split your pension (not sure), but I really doubt you would have to pay alimony. If you take custody of your daughter, HE would owe you child support. If he doesn't work, how can he confuse himself about you supporting him financially?

See if there is a legal aid office in your state. They can teach you to file your own or point you to someone who won't charge the prevailing rates. If not, see if a large office supply store has a do it yourself kit. These suggestions apply only if you are sure you want a divorce, of course.

Do some google. Research. Don't just believe the lawyers. Best of luck and good wishes.
