p.s. once you see this, I ask you: isn't the cultural bias against this way of seeing the world ever-so-pervasive? They (media) seem to feel they have to attribute it to the political situation. Why not engage in a little cultural relativism and not assume that everyone has the same obsession with science that we do?

3. Considering that astrology was quite popular in the Middle
East going back beyond history, it's not surprising it's still popular today. I often wonder if writing wasn't invented for this reason and not for counting grain and sheep as is believed by archaelogical types.
