Welcome to my new business
Edited on Fri Feb-02-07 12:03 PM by judaspriestess

I am sooooooooooooooo excited about this product line by Suzanne Somers. I'm so picky about stuff and I found this and I just fell in love. Not only is it awesome, its a brand new line, just launched this past November. I am consultant #1776 which makes me a charter consultant, anyone who signs up to consultant 3000 will be considered a charter member.

Her food products are just incredible and very, very affordable. Her skin care line I have not tried but I have seen the product and its very nice with lots of botanicals etc. and I will start using her product line here very shortly.

If any of you ladies are interested in a brochure or would like to look at my website, please pm me and I will gladly give you info on both.

The response to the products is INCREDIBLE and I am truly proud to offer them.

Best wishes to everyone and have a blessed day

2. Thank you
I thought about it but I went with in posting in here since its mainly women posting.

Do you think I should post my actual website? It shows my real name, my picture and my phone number, not that it bothers me. When I originally did my post, I did have my website up but I was not sure if I that was a good Idea so I took it down.

opinions welcome. Thanks.

I wonder who else here has something going like this?

8. I would love to have a small business manifestation thread here.
We could describe our businesses one time, for the interest of others, and then keep the thread focused on the use of manifestation for our small business efforts.

The reason I'd like to do it in this forum is to use our metaphysical ways, with no explanation or apology, to manifest good old fashioned business goals.

Agree? Disagree? Pretty please with sugar on top?

9. I don't have any objections ..
But now I'm realizing I haven't done a fryin thing to manifest this biz opp. I have been focused on my long term intent. I saw this as just a 'stepping stone' to the future. That is not good.
Guess I better get busy.

10. You're not the only one.
I have been guilty of fuzzy business thinking, too. Manifesting business goals does not come naturally to me, yet, probably because I've always focused on creativity.

It just struck me as not coincidental that SeattleGirl also started a thread about her "Starlight Florals".

All my life, whenever I've thought that I was embarking on a solo path toward something new, it's always turned out that I was really part of a much larger "generational movement". I'm getting that funny little feeling that such is the case with this.

14. During the summer, I must have done
a preliminary manifestation though, because someone else paid for my certification. I've been making $50 payment to keep my website up. I need to move to the next phase. I do feel this is an important step in where I'm headed. I worked for a professional fund raising firm, and it is huge.
I'm doing volunteer work for my friend's n/p right now.

I know we can all be successful, whatever our unique view of that is.
This is a great idea.

I am unemployed and facing having to return to the corporate world, and, I have realized that I do not want to do this again.

I would love a small business manifestation thread...and, I really think it will help me.

I have not been enthusiastic about very much for the last several months, but, the thought that maybe I can work for myself is something that I think I am meant to do, and, I can feel enthusiasm begin to well up inside of me.

Please let us do this manifestation thread.

Clean-burning, soy/veggie, triple-scented gourmet candles. Very well-structured compensation program and lots of support with very low start-up cost. The candles and soy soap are the best out there, bar none. No rah, rah stuff either. PM me if interested.

I also emailed the company president before signing up to find out if they contribute any money to Repugs. He emailed me right back (on a Sunday) to assure me they do not. They do give candles the troops as part of their hometown heroes program.

17. It's official, then. Oh, boy!
I've never started a thread, but I don't see why we can't use this one.

Here's something that helped me get started with business manifestation (although I still have a long way to go). If you can't commit to spending at least fifteen minutes a day on manifestation of your business, then you may as well give it up right now. But, if you can firmly commit fifteen minutes a day or more, you can manifest a business. It's like making a snowman - the toughest part is getting started.

So, what do you think of that?

22. Are you serious?

Fifteen minutes? That seems too easy.

I am getting motivated to give this thing a good shot. I have been wanting to work in a flower shop for Valentine's week. I love working holidays in a shop. High energy.

As for the travel biz... The reason I don't put up a link to broadcast to anyone who reads DU is the same as we've already discussed. I do use it on some websites, when appropriate.

I think I need to start at the brain storming level. I've had training, one whole day, and listened in on numerous live prospect calls. I ran across a link for 'scripts' (I don't like the one provided), but now I can't remember where! However, I ordered the book, "The Great Formula: for Creating Maximum Profit with Minimal Effort". I was going to buy his earlier book, but this one covers the first and new material. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0471778230/102-0698056-2825747

I'm going to spend 15 minutes today getting clear on my intentions. Thanks for the idea.

ps. I go to several meetups each week. LOA, Abraham Hicks, I haven't made it to an Energy Healer's meetup yet, and whatever else looks interesting. It is a wonderful way to network with people from all around the city. And they are working on the same things I am. Good fellowship.

I also like to attend Toastmasters meetings when I get a chance. I would love to pay dues and begin the speech development program, but I haven't put aside the fundage yet. All these things I also consider to be actions I take towards manifestation because they are developing my skills (?).

Abrham calls it the 'art of allowing'.
His quote:

"Today, no matter where I'm going, no matter what I am doing, and no matter who I'm doing it with -- it is my dominant intent to look for that which I'm wanting to see. I'm wanting to find thoughts and words and actions that feel good while I'm finding them. For in doing so, I am, in the moment, practicing the art of allowing all that I've been telling the Universe I'm wanting, for all of the days of my existence --- Abraham

23. My fault. I should have said a minimum of fifteen minutes.
Still, I've met several people who say they'd like to start a business but don't even spend that minimum time.

You're so right about starting at the brain storming level. The second thing that got me going was making a business notebook that I use every day. Mine's a loose leaf notebook, 9" x 7", with Dayrunner subject tabs. The tabs can be different for each person, such as Budget, Goals, Supplies, To Do, etc. I buy tabs with pockets, to keep receipts. One of my tabs is Business Diary, where I list what I do every day towards my business goals.

I've heard about Abraham. Isn't Abraham a collective of spirits?

Anything that I write in my business notebook happens or "comes true". If I don't write it for my mind to see in this world, nothing happens. It's truly like magic, somehow.

24. It really is.
I find the same thing. I have to write things down. And they do tend to happen.
I'm going to pick-up on the notebook idea. Organization is key.

Yes, Abraham is a collective.

What is your business?

25. Right this minute I have a passionate hobby, not a business.
Since 1994 I've drawn a daily cartoon called Rock Garden Comics. It utterly consumes my heart and soul to draw comics, to the point that I get up at 3 a.m. every work day and draw until time to go to work. On the weekends, I put in about eight hours Saturday and eight hours Sunday. There's nothing else I'd rather do. I tried commercial art but hated it. So far it's strictly a hobby, but since I love doing it so much, it ought to be my day job. If anyone wants to see it, there's a link to the website below.

It's a daily comic, so it consumes time (drawing, coloring, scanning and processing in Photoshop, posting to the web, managing the website, etc.). Finding time to make it a business is currently my biggest challenge, because I also have a full time job.

Making the comic happen daily is somewhat like manifesting a business. It's a huge commitment. I started by promising myself to spend at least fifteen minutes a day working towards it, and by starting the notebook. Everything else grew out of that.

I also started a Caption notebook, for cartoon ideas.

The website's been up since Aug. 20, 2005, and I've never missed a daily update, yet. Honestly, I think that manifesting is a process, not an event. It's ongoing, morphing and changing and growing in unexpected ways. That's the fun of it. Eventually, it leads you into manifestation. Yummy.

27. thats sounds so great RG
I've had this thing about creating a comic based on my bulldog. Manifesting also requires all of us to BELIEVE and KNOW our intentions will come to fruition. We must manifest everyday all day and not waiver from it and never ever doubt it.

Anyone ever heard of Doreen Virtue?

She is really good on affirmations and has an awesome chakra clearing cd with a morning and evening mediation. the evening meditation always puts me to sleep which is a bonus :)
but its a good idea to clear our chakras of the days events and clear our mind and souls for a restful sleep and a purposeful day.

her website is www.angeltherapy.com

If you ever decide to do it, let me know. There are several places where you can get a free comic site. I pay for mine, but not much.

Thanks for Doreen Virtue. Somehow I had missed knowing her. Clearing the chakras is a great daily routine.

Yeah, believe and know! Sometimes manifesting seems overwhelming. I have to take each goal and break it down into manageable chunks. That gives me a better feeling of accomplishment than looking at a big goal and thinking that I'm far away from it.

36. Yes, manifestation is like losing weight. When losing weight, If you focus...
on the entire amount that you ultimately want to lose, it can be so overwhelming that you give up, but if you have realistic milestones (such as 5 lb. amounts), then you have successes that can inspire you to work towards the next milestone (in that case, the next 5 lbs.)

:)

31. The quote of the day in the newspaper jumped out at me today.
It said:

"It's impossible to find the time to do something important. You have to make the time to do it."

That sounded like manifestation to me. Does anyone else think so, too? I've been guilty of saying that I can't find the time to do several things, lately. Anyway, it gave me something to think about.

34. Well, that quote knocked me out.
It has a magical quality to it, as if you could really create the time you need, out of thin air. And maybe you can. If a person can actually make time, that opens up all kinds of possibilities. For some strange reason, I have the urge to listen to "Sunshine Superman" by Donovan and just think about the whole thing. Weird.
