Friend needs love & light

A Leo friend, the most psychic person I've ever known, desperately needs love and light. Her Significant Other, a Sagittarian 12 years younger, just walked out on her for another woman, told her she was too sick and too old. (They'd been together at least 15 years.) She is sick - fibromyalgia and asthma - has no way to support herself and is too young for social security. She feels, in her words, that her life has nowhere to go. Her eighth house Neptune is under ferocious attack right now.

Years ago I took a class from her in how to find past lives. The results were amazing, helped me understand so much about myself. Her psychic abilities are not a-dark-handsome-man-is-in-your-future, but this is why you do what you do. I would call her a psychological psychic, although what she has said about the future, always within the context of psychology, has been amazingly accurate. As an example, she told me that my husband's novel couldn't find a publisher until he dealt with some negative attitudes. After the book languished for five years, he changed his attitude, took action and within days the book sold.

In addition to light, I'd appreciate any suggestions as to how she can use her psychic abilities to at least pay for food and rent. A website? She's also a talented writer, but can't write if she can't eat.

And btw, politically she is one of us.

1. Has she ever been employed?

Wondering if she qualifies for disability? I know that's not an ideal solution for some people, but maybe she would be eligible.

Is there another woman she knows and trusts with whom she could combine forces? My mother and I have been on this kick. We've been discussing how women should stick together and help each other out when the men in their lives abandon them, or if they are single mothers, underpaid, ill or even just family members trying to get ahead. If she can establish a symbiotic relationship, perhaps it will give her time and strength to get back on her feet.

5. Yes, she's been employed but....

never made much, so won't get much from social security. She obviously should be on disability, but from what I've heard that's a difficult row to hoe. I suspect she's so deep in depression right now that she can't see light even when it might be there. Her daughter is well-educated (Ph.D. in electrical engineering) but she insists daughter isn't an option. I haven't been in close contact with her for years, so don't know particulars. Our paths cross when I need a reading, make a referral to her or she wants my astrological opinion. She herself has a B.A. in computers, but that's a field that is closed if you haven't worked in it for awhile. It's a sad, sad situation.

3. Has she ever done readings for money? Is she physically able

to do this? Would she be able to do a class again? Many reputable psychics work from their homes. It seems she does have accuracy, even if she's not the type to go into incredible detail. She could bill as more of a psychic counselor, helping with direction and life issues, and I think the more she did it, the more she would find her niche with what works for her.

I know that doesn't help in the meantime since this would take awhile. I would imagine getting disability would also be a long struggle, from what I've heard. If she doesn't have any source of income and isn't able to work, she can go on public assistance in the short term, until she can get something going. I would think in the interim she may have to rely on friends and family for a place to live.

I wish there was something to relieve her fibromyalgia and asthma. Do you think she has good medical care? I'm so sorry for her pain, both emotional and physical. I know she's thankful for a friend like you. I'm sending warm light for healing, strength and courage.

6. She would be a great psychic counselor

She has done readings for money but has never promoted herself - even though she's a Leo she doesn't have a knack for it - so has only done readings on a catch-as-catch-can basis. She does very well counseling over the phone. One of her strengths is past life readings, putting the past lives in the context of who we are now and what's going on in our lives.

BTW, She is good with details, told me exactly what my husband's negative attitudes were (and where they came from); when he eventually changed them the book sold.

8. Can she do readings when she is this depressed?

Most of the psychics I know have some difficulty doing readings with a muddy energy field.

Also see if she can get a past life read on this break up.
I think it is karmic for her and she is supposed to learn something.
Once she sorts it out she may feel better.

Also in most areas there are low cost counseling clinics if she needs help.

It is tough to get a business going and doing readings if you do not feel well emotionally.

She can apply for disability but it usually takes some time to come through.

OH!! I just thought of this. Make sure you all create a Myspace for her. SERIOUSLY. She can advertise herself as a psychological psychic counselor if she wants; just make sure you put disclaimers and etc. It is free and easy and a good networking tool (really!!). Just make sure you read all the fine print. I think she'll be ok within the parameters that are set out.
