Anyone get discouraged?
I am doing the footwork, in getting my new biz off the ground, but right now things are moving slower than I want them to.

1. Oh, I'm HORRIBLY discouraged right now.
About pretty much everything. So, I feel you. Being spiritually inclined doesn't protect you from normal things like being discouraged and fearful.

2. I am really trying to not be in fear right now!
I wish the committee in my head would just quiet down.

10. a wise woman once told me what to do about that committee
to make three lists

1. what can I do something about RIGHT NOW

2. what can I do something about but later?

3. Things I have no control over

once you are done with the lists, get to work on 1. do what you can to get ready to do 2. and pray then forget about 3 altogether

keeps them busy (you brought some of that Valentine's cake didn't you?? you know how the committee LOVES cake (and donuts))

:hi:

hope that helps!

3. Everyone gets discouraged now and again, even Republicans.
Or maybe not. Who knows with Republicans.

I'm not discouraged right now, just tired and maybe a bit depressed, but I logged on to DU today for the first time in a week and find a message that someone has given me a heart. Now, that just made my day, and I had to pass it on. Keep on hanging out with this group and you're bound to have more than your share of sweetness in life.

5. I was thinking about you Japple last night, and wondering how you were.
I am so glad to see you back.
Hope you are OK.

13. Thanks Cassie. There is so much paperwork involved in
settling Dad's estate--it's almost a full time job. And since I'm on dial-up, I have to keep the phone lines open.

I'll be back to my usual postings in another month or so.

14. Yes it is overwhelming. Glad you are OK. Will look forward to you
coming back when you can. Duty calls, I know.

How are you doing?

4. Keep going, keep going, keep going!
It's natural to feel depressed, once the high of a new beginning ends. If you still love it, keep going. I see you throwing wads of money in the air, drinking champagne from a Prada mule. Vacation brochures litter the floor, and you're laughing and saying, "I'm so glad I kept going!"

I hear the phone ringing. It's Suzanne Sommers! She wants to meet you! Good thing you just bought all those hot new clothes!

Money in the bank - the last laugh - the top of the mountain - we knew you could do it all along!!!

6. I think that this part of the year is the hardest for most, mood wise.
Shorter daylight hours causes drops in serotonin levels,
many start dragging. And winter weather and illness don't help.
Everyone seems to perk up March 1.

8. Oh, no, I'm an idiot!
It's Judaspriestess who's selling Suzanne Sommers stuff, not you. That's so funny.

Anyway, keep going, keep going, keep going!

9. What you are experiencing is normal, Kitchey
Bringing something into physical reality doesn't always go as quickly as we would like. But I agree with what some of the others have said; keep going and things will pick up again. Though if you need to just take a short break, that would probably be okay too. Sometimes, I think we need to do that so that things in the physical world can catch up to what we are creating internally. That doesn't mean giving up or anything; it just means taking a brief time-out.

11. Your products
are something I want to experience. I intend to have ongoing increase in income after this Valentine gig and will have the cash.
You've got a great opportunity. If you love it, stay with it.

I was given a biz op, literally GIFTED, and I have done about zero with it. Not sure why, but there must be some reason I never took off with it. ... Like one of the men in "The Secret" said, if we don't feel good about something, it is the Wrong Way.
How do you feel when you think about it?
