7. Well I've not looked at his progressions but his statement that

he won't decide until September made me wonder if he had some astro info because that's when Saturn leaves Leo and is well beyond his stellium.

Smart move really.

10. The dotted symmetrical shape in red

is comprised of two sesquiquadrates (approx 135 degrees ) and two opposition. If there is a name for that configuration (and there probably is) I'm not aware of it. It wouldn't be considered a Major configuration by many as sesquiquadrates are considered to be minor aspects, though still they have their influence.

He also has two Yods (fingers of God) which are cool.

I hadn't looked at his chart in a while.

What were you looking for. . .? The Saturn ingress stuff or the progressions?

11. Is it a Yod if it has two different colors?

I have a big triangle in my chart too with one side red and the other blue. I don't have any all the same color that that stretch the length of the chart that I can tell- a little confused about Yods.

12. Colors often depend on the software and what are often beyond that optional preferences.

Some delineate by element and modality as well.

If it's an equilateral triangle then it's a Grand Trine.

A Yod is comprised of two planets at 150 degree angles to a singular planet or tight stellium.

Just look at the sign opposing the focal planet or planets and jump over one sign ahead of it and one sign behind the opposing sign. If there are planets at very close degrees (astrologers love to argue about orbs) to that of the focal planet in those signs adjacent to the opposing sign, you have a Yod.

Gore’s progressed Sun moves into a sextile with his natal Sun in January 2009 for a year, and his tertiary progressed Sun will be conjunct his natal Sun from mid-January through mid-February 2009. These suggest a time of heightened and positive emotional experience, as well as a newly strengthened focus.
