have a history of panic attacks and my son is going through quite a huge event in his life. He has overcome so many hurdles. He has dug himself out of homelessness and now has a college degree. He has worked hard. He never had the advantage his brother did, because he bulked at authority all his life, but he has made wonderful strides.

There could still be lurking a few things to make his journey uphill, I would appreciate any hugs and warm fuzzies you can spare.

Even though he is almost 40 I 'worry' 'worry' 'worry'. Does worrying ever end?

1. I've a rant about worry which I'll type as soon as I can but someone

posted on my election day prayer thread in November very succinctly, "worry is prayer towards a negative outcome."

I know all too well maternal worry. Still try and rally and be relentless in visualizing him as happy and healthy as you possibly can. That'll be the best magic you can do for a start.

7. Okay I've posted this before so for the regulars please forgive any redundancy,

Here is my worry rant:

"Ya know when you see someone walking a dog in a park. . .and it looks as though the dog is walking the person as opposed to the person walking the dog? Well that's how it can be with our thoughts.

We're supposed to be able to reign them in versus having them dragging us through the mud and into the briar patch." Ouch and yuck.

It's easy to do once you realize you can simply do it. Visualizations and affirmations do indeed work, though they can seem Hallmark-ish at times but are completely exemplary of how we disempower such crapola.

There was a funny astronomer I heard from the Hayden Planetarium in NYC this weekend on NPR's ""Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" on their "Not My Job Segment."

He was one of the guys responsible for Pluto's demotion to dwarf status. He actually called Disney and asked them why Pluto was Mickey's dog instead of Mickey being Pluto's mouse. The Disney rep actually said in absolution that, "The cartoon character who wears clothes invariably has dominance." LOL

Our thoughts are supposed to work for us. Not the other way 'round.

I feel deeply that you can make them work for you.

Instead of worrying, try visualizing him as a self-sufficient man, able to take care of himself and make a life for himself. I send you light and will pray for you that you can help in that way.

That might make you more clearly understand what some of the people who've already responded are saying.

In case you're not aware, it's about the Law of Attraction and the fact that what we focus on is what we bring into our lives.

9. I have been hearing about "The Secret" and want to learn more

about it. Is this in a DVD Movie form? Or only book form.

I also saw parts of it on Oprah. He believes in lots of this type of thing...such as "What the Bleep"...and the Seth books. I told him I would send him the information on "The Secret"..and will do so.

I just watched it tonight (the original version, apparently the extended version is no longer available as a free viewing). I am currently reading the book, so watching the video really reinforced what I am learning and practicing.

I will be going to a public viewing of The Secret on March 7. I am really excited about it, because I will be meeting like minded people who live near me (I just moved to SoCal back in August - from Minnesota). It is my intention to manifest friends at this gathering.
