Since vivid dreams seem to be somewhat common lately, here are
two of mine that I had in less than a week:

In the first one, I dreamed I woke up, came downstairs, and my mother was there. She had just arrived, but since I was not awake, she got angry and said she was going to leave. Then one by one, my brothers and sisters appeared, and they were all angry at me, and they were all cutting me out of their lives.

I woke up from this feeling profoundly said, and just couldn't shake that feeling for several days. First off, my family would NEVER do that to me, ever. I think it came about as a combination of two things: My mom is ill, and my brothers and sisters are taking turns staying with her. They all live within a few miles of her; I live nearly 300 miles away, so I can't take a turn very often, so I think I feel some guilt about that, even though my family doesn't treat me badly at all, and totally accepts that I live where I live, and that I come down when I can.

The other thing is, last time I did stay with my mom, I was sleeping so soundly I didn't hear her, and she had to call my brother to come over. When I woke up and realized what had happened, I was mortified. Again, they aren't mad at me, but I was very upset that I didn't hear her.

My other dream, just as vivid, was more in alignment with a situation in my life, but I don't want to share details right now. Suffice it to say that in my dream, I was doing what I needed to do in reality. The good thing about the dream was that it manifested itself in exactly the way I want this situation to resolve itself.

_________________________

Not sure why I shared this; I think it just needed to get it out, because of how very real they seemed to be. They are those kinds of dreams where, after you wake up, you aren't sure that you WERE dreaming.

1. Wonderful invention, dreams.
I am so grateful for them. They are mysterious, annoying, funny and unfortunately too soon forgotten unless you keep a log. Something I have been intending to do but haven't done yet.

Had a dream a few nights ago when I was tossing and turning with the flu. Two dreams but basically the same scenario. In the dream, I am sleeping on the ground, in a driveway with my head toward the street. I open my eyes and see a man riding a big bull down the street and they are heading straight for me. (One dream had a long horned steer). By the time the bulls got near me, they were riderless and snorting and sniffing all around me. Very frightened, I lay very still and imagined blue light around the bulls and hoped that they wouldn't feel inclined to step on me.

Woke up and laughed. Glad I wasn't crushed by all that bull. I saw it related directly to my employment situation. Work is annoying right now and ridiculously complicated for what it is. I needed to remember to laugh as its not brain surgery and won't be important or even remembered the moment I am employed somewhere else.

2. I woke up from a dream, sort of philosophy class, no picture, just verbal arugment
One of the members was arguing against another saying something like 'but deliver-us-from-evil says' when BOOM I woke up. All I can remember is that particular person was repeatedly cited in the arguments as the authority on whatever topic was being discussed.

I have read stories of people being educated in their dream state. I wonder if this was one of them because it was nothing like my usual dreams.
