How to deal with those uncomfortable feelings!

Last week I received several Martha Moore-Stevens CDs and DVDs. What a blessing they are! Her spirit is an uplifting, shining beacon.

When you listen, you will hear her refer to several training experiences, one of which was Science of Mind (Religious Science). I know exactly what she speaks of when she talks about "giving a treatment". The United Church of Religious Science has a 24 hour world prayer hotline. The number is here >

I went through a period a few years ago when I called that number at least once a week. It is spoken Power.

... she explains how to deal with uncomfortable, discomforting feelings. I like it!

When you first notice the discomfort, someone or something 'out there' is being perceived by you as distressful, the first step, in that MOMENT, is:

Forgive Yourself

Our perceptions are our own projections. When I see someone doing something I PERCEIVE as upsetting, it is mine! I own it. I projected it. The feelings came about due to my own judgments. So I can Forgive Myself.

Go into Gratitude

You noticed it! Be so grateful that you can experience sensations from your perspective. It's MINE! I'm so glad. This leads into honest, humble, sweet spirit feelings. Thank You that I can know myself!

This is where the Transformation from fear and doubt into love and trust takes place.

Process It

Let it flow over you. DO NOT block feelings. Accept them. Allow them. No matter how long it takes, allow the feelings to be with you. When we block feelings, we are blocking the Life Force flow within us. (I never thought of that). The same I AM that exists everywhere, exists in me. Don't block It.

Say: "I AM the presence commanding harmony and peace in this situation NOW."
This comes ONLY after the processing is complete. We've got to do our part so Spirit can do Her's.

This process removes all that self nagging about negating thoughts. Isn't it an unrelentless cycle? I'm getting steamed at that moron in the checkout line. Oops, I shouldn't be feeling that way. I am a good person after all. What is wrong with me? Well there I go, nagging on myself again. But OBVIOUSLY I don't know anything about humilty. WHAT TF IS SHE DOING NOW? PRICE CHECK? OH (&(*#&_#&$#_.
No one here does that, do they? Now we don't have to :D

While pondering this matter, I thought of the people who argue that these teachings "blame the victim". If I'm sick, it's my FAULT. Ditto to you. Negative. This is how it really is. It isn't my FAULT! It is a gift my body is giving me to let me know that my soul is seeking something. Dis-ease is a MESSAGE. What about the babies born ill? I'm not sure. I have to believe that we are not solo projectors. There is the collective projection. Each culture has their own projections. Or perhaps that soul needs only that which can be provided through the illness. So, if this is True, when the soul is satisfied can we enjoy 100% perfect health? In a perfect world, for sure. I suppose if we can perfect our souls in this plane, we could expect our bodies to be perfect as well.

go to one of Martha's workshops. The light and love she projects is amazing. She has one of the largest auras I've ever seen. She is very open and honest, and I guarantee that she has used the techniques she describes in her own life, which hasn't been a bed of roses. And if you are ever in need of healing, go to her website and get her phone number and give her a call. She will listen and help you learn the secret of healing yourself;no charge (though she will accept love offerings if you are so inclined).

I agree that it is very important to have one's emotions but it's also important to then return to balance, which Martha's process helps to occur.

5. I talked with Martha tonight

Here's the story:

This quilt story was told nationwide after 1986 sometime, although the experiences had happened before that year.

Jack Boland always came to the Chapel of Light and gave a weekend retreat. He was the paster of a Unity Church in Warren, Michigan, close to Detroit. He had 5000 plus members. He was an AA person who had come from the bottom up. I met him at the Chapel of Light, Whitney, Texas. He drew around 250 people when he came. The Chapel received all monies, he supported the Chapel in this way. I always gave a quilt to the Chapel to raffle off each time he was there. On this week end when I was leaving home to go to his retreat (most always upon Labor Day weekend), I was told by Spirit to take this little quilt I had with me. I had no idea why but I followed my inner guidance. As I was preparing to get ready to go home on Sunday after the Sunday service I was given instruction to give the quilt to Jack Boland and Karen, his wife at that date. So I presented it saying to them I was told by Spirit to give you two this quilt. You could see the "What are we going to do with this?" on their faces. But Karen said, "I'll just carry it on my arm as we go to Houston on the plane to do a Sunday night service there." So I walked away after thanking Jack for a lovely retreat.

The next year when Jack came back and he got up to begin his retreat, he said, "I have a story to tell. Last year we received one of Martha's quilts. We had to carry it on Karen's arm. As we were leaving the Unity Chruch to go to our plane, a call came in from a young man saying he wished to come and could we do a prayer and healing for his wife whom he had just picked up from the Anderson Hospital. She had cancer and was being sent home to die with a month or less to be alive. I said meet us at the airport and we may be able to say a quick prayer before boarding.

"Karen had already given her ticket to the attendant and I was slowly walking up to do so when I heard my name called. There they were, she in a wheelchair, racing to me. The agent was trying to get me on the plane. Karen walked back and threw the little quilt on the little lady in the wheelchair. 'Here, this is covered with Marta's Love and Healing energy in this quilt.' We said our blessings and went on board.

"We heard from the couple later. The woman had not been without the quilt one second. They went for an appointment with the doctor close to one month from the day she received it. The woman was free of cancer, and the couple asked us to have dinner with them."

Once after that I was at an ORI Convention or Power of Thought School and I was asked to sit at a certain table and I did. The lady there asked me to tell the quilt story to her friend who was there for her first time. I began the story and the friend finished it. She had heard Jack himself tell the story in his Unity Church in Warren, Michigan.
