Good rituals or visualizations to remove obstacles?

I recently found out that I have some "unclaimed property" in the state of Utah where I used to live. There's one very big catch however: I have to "prove" I lived at each address before they will even tell me how much it is. I've got one covered, but the second one will be tough. I lived there between 1986 and 1989. My credit union where I had an account and the bank where my mother had a car loan have been bought by other institutions. Utah tax forms are only kept for 5 years. The gas company and electric companies only keep their records for about a year. My last resort would be the Mormon church, which MAY have a record of my previous addresses.

The woman said after I got the money I could "go have a nice dinner," but I'm thinking there might be more than that, since I have to get request forms notarized.

Any suggestions are appreciated...

how about

copy of your federal income tax return with that address on it
affadavit from an old neighbor, or the landlord
old check stubs showing your rent paid
school or employer records

There must be some other ways, too. Those just popped into my head.

3. Already tried the old employer

They got nuttin'. No old check stubs from that place (I've moved 4 times since I lived there, once across country). If nothing else, I suppose I'll have to get the tax returns, but it will cost me $40 apiece (one for me, one for my mother, who died in 2000). I'm going to try the church first...

2. Credit reports

usually show past addresses. If they have that address, it's available somewhere.
