Quick check-in re: the general state of the nation. Any blips?

I'm feeling...not much of anything. Nothing significant. But that's what has me a little worried.

Is anyone picking up anything significant about, I dunno...terrorism? Martial law justified by alleged potential terrorist events? Anything else?

1. weather...

I feel storms and not just because they've been forcasted here in Texas. My spirit is uneasy and I spent time in meditation this morning trying to get centered. I then tried getting my kids off to school with no fluffed feathers and lo and behold, my oldest bucked me on everything. As patient as I tried to be, I finally lost my cool with her. (she has become so smart mouthed and ugly to her sister) I feel bad and wonder if this is part of the "storms" that are brewing.

2. My spirit is not at peace during meditation

but instead has an energy light that I cannot really describe other than to say it isn't the Light that usually comes. It is "blaring" and "harsh".

3. I too feel uneasy...

... and the past two or three days I have been feeling like something is just plain wrong.

I don't know what is about to come, but I do feel a storm is coming.

Your statement of, "martial law justified by alleged potential terrorist events" worried me because this is something that I could see the * Admin doing.

4. I just read a thread in GDP and realized I had seen if before

in a dream.....YEARS ago.

So I am sitting here crying because this kind of stuff pisses me off and scares me at the same time...

And yes, it is about who Edwards endorses...no I am not upset over whom (if anyone). I am upset over how far I had pushed it away.

Gads...no wonder I have not been sleeping well...every night awake at 0355 hours...bleh.

Sorry kids...nothing weirder than a peri menopausal, cycling Aquarian who is having trouble channeling...:)

6. Have some nice soy milk

It's excellent for menopause symptoms. I like the chocolate flavor best. Used to drink a couple of ounces every night and never had hot flashes unless I forgot to drink it for a couple of days.

7. I wish I liked soy better

I use it when I can, but the milk really is hard for me...even chocolate. I do use tofu were I can (and when I can hide it realistically from hubby :)

BUT, I do have some fine organic 80+% dark chocolate stached away :)

Before I read your post and the other threads--nothing right now. As in the calm before the storm? I have a sneaking suspicion the general election is going to be UG-LY. But then, I don't need to be a psychic to see that...

8. I snapped tonight. No, I didn't take it out on anyone other than myself,

but it hasn't been pretty. I don't usually use Rescue Remedy, (too heavy for me) but tomorrow is going to be a multi-dose day (don't have any and can't get any at the moment—I wish they sold that stuff in convenience stores).

It could have been in response to the pile-up of stressors that just fell on me, or it could be a psychic response to other things.
