How does one go about submitting an entry to the glossary anyway and can one add links?

You gave me a project for the snow storm we're having here today and you *know* brevity is not my strong suit.

This is all mostly paraphrased and way too long.

After furious and futile efforts of doing activism on issues regarding election fraud since HAVA was passed in late '02 to no avail, one DUer got the possibly foolish notion that perhaps these insecure vote tallying software could be fixed just as easily as it could be rigged through collective focusing of group consciousness. That DUer wrote the following on the day before the pivotal mid term elections in '06:

"I'm co creating with spirit that any malicious code implanted or hidden in the vote tally counting software be neutralized during this mid term election, and any malfeasance that does occur be so blatant that it will be exposed and corrected immediately, so that the true will of the people will be revealed and real justice can be established."

Or perhaps, "I'm co creating with spirit that this election will be fair."

(feel free to modify as you feel is appropriate)

You see very simply, if they can rig 'em maybe we can fix 'em. . .with our hearts and minds."

Another DUer snarkily made fun of and accused the DUer who wrote that by essentially saying the OP discouraged people from more traditional and conventional precinct work and encouraged complacency and mocked the post by saying it suggested that all one had to do is walk into the voting booth and say "Ooga Booga Smooga Wooga" and all would be well.

A third DUer responded by defending those who derived solace from chanting and then upon further reflection thought that "Ooga Booga Smooga Wooga did indeed have a certain appealing rhythm to it.

It subsequently became a victory chant for the midterm election.

You have truly posited the operative question.

I'm entirely mixed about it for several reasons.

Firstly, the energy around it initially was so playful and celebratory, it felt like it could go somewhere to bridge consciousness, humor, and politics. It was so kind of him to donate that site to us, that gave it some momentum. Secondly, technically the guy who donated the site did so well over a year ago so it should have expired by now without further funding. Thirdly, the OBSW translation didn't occur to me until I got sloppy about referencing it, a month later and really is time sensitive because hopefully, "W" is on his way out. Fourthly, because helderheid has yet to chime in.

She has little ones so she is probably busy with them.

Still I think I'll call her as it's rare for her to not respond.

Will post later if we arrive at a place of clarity.

BTW quite ironically, that's her real first name. LOL

I might be inclined to add something about "stating an affirmation to neutralize election fraud" just because the OP was born of my long term obsession about that, but my general inclination towards verbosity can admittedly be a total pain at times so it's your call.

You might want to consider getting approval from OMC if you're gonna mention him by name 'cause he was deeply embarrassed when he learned who the "wise scribe" (who he roasted) who suggested the visualization was and most won't bother weeding through the link to the OP since trotsky pissed all over it upthread. Oh joy

It's funny that this should come up at this time, because just earlier this week I was thinking of the OBSW days, and wondering if Helderheid would return to the ASAH forum.
