But he doesn't talk about hemispheric synchronization. He even talks about pendulums. It is a "mind machine" in that it interacts with the mind to reveal the subconscious. He also talks about dowsing rods. He gives complete instructions on how to build an Hieronymous machine. That is something using a stick pad to do testing. I think it is similar to a radionics device. I didn't build one. Then there is a "wishing" machine.
Muscle response testing is discussed, and also how various symbols can strengthen/weaken a person.
What amused me was after he went into detail about how to build a Hieronymous machine, the next chapter said, all you need is a diagram that makes sense to you. LOL, he had to re-ink the batteries every year or so.
It's not that this book was chock full of information, because it wasn't, really. I just loved the writing style and the kind of scientific mindset behind it--all while being easily readable. You can read the reviews here--they will tell you more than I can here--
http://www.amazon.com/Amazing-Wonderful-Mind-Machines-Build/dp/1560870753 It's not in print, and I can't really say it is worth fifty bucks. It is just really fun to read. Particularly I like it when I start to think I am nuts because of all the seemingly strange stuff I do. Then I'll go back and look at this book. It is very down to earth, and I start to feel more normal again.
Okay, I am trying to get the picture of a tattooed cell phone on the face out of my mind...............
