A short message from Matthew
(Thanks to Proud_Lefty for sending it to me!)

This message is from the Mayan Majix website, which has a Mayan calendar focus. There have been other Matthew messages there in the past. (It's not on Matthew's website, at least not yet.)

3. Then *THIS* is where I want to go *NOW*:
Stay steadfast in the light and keep Earth's Golden Age foremost in your thoughts and hearts. The transformation of your world that you are helping to create in this very moment already has been manifested in the continuum - that is how powerful you are!

4. In as much as I loathe hearing the excessively faux accusations of Iranian
ties to violence in Iraq, as if we've not provoked the Iraqis enough, maybe it's delusional, but I don't think they're going to get away with an attack on Iran.

I've probably said this before. Please pardon any redundancy.

After the coup of '00, when this "misadministration" took over and kept talking about WMD's, I thought that they were lying. It was obvious. I even invented the term "oligarchical hypnogoguery" for it. Still I had a deep abiding sense that there would be no stopping them from invading. They were hell bent on it.

I don't feel the same way about Iran. The military is stretched if not broken. I seriously don't think the Joint Chiefs will go for it given the obvious quagmire and disastrous circumstances in Iraq.

Glad Matthew concurs.

5. I agree with you, Stella
The whole Iran thing has a different energy from the Iraq mess. Now I get the impression that they're just shadow boxing--gotta keep launching the propaganda (OMG even just quoting Weasel's words turns my stomach)--as if to not only maintain the FEAR! FEAR! FEAR! thing, but also to keep the message at the forefront so they can hand off the baton to future Repubs without losing any momentum (they think).

But no, they CAN'T make good on this because of the state of the military (I believe "broken" is correct)--and a draft would sink them but good.

Now I think they're just setting the stage to toss the whole ugly disaster of this administration at the next DEM president, and when the Dem doesn't fix everything within the first six months in office, all the Repugs are going to sit around on their bloated lily-white asses shouting, "See?! See?! Dems can't do anything! Reelect US!"
:puke:

6. Now, MG, he used a *big* word - "catapult" - "catapult the propaganda"
I can't believe that people didn't make more out of that stupidly honest answer. I swear that he didn't even understand what he was saying; he just repeated what he heard said in meetings.

:eyes:

:)

7. Gasp--that's true! It was "catapult" wasn't it?
Three sylla...sullib...sibbalul...parts to the word! That was major for him!

8. Yup and how about the time he said
"Money trumps peace" . . .?

Those statements couple with him wishing it was a dictatorship are probably the three most honest statements he's uttered in years.

I thought he'd only mentioned the dictatorship shtick once but this video suggests he's said it more than once.

Crispin Miller is such an ace IMHO.
