Can we spare some energy for Straight Story's wife? They need some love.

1. Wow, it sounds like me twenty years ago.

I'm asthmatic and found myself with a pneumonia that I couldn't shake for years. I too was bedridden a lot of the time. Lack of oxygen just debilitating. Doctors tried treating me with steroids and anti-biotics that didn't do the trick. So out of desperation I tried herbs. I started taking large doses of echinacea and and to a lesser degree ephedra as well as substituting honey for sugar in my beverages. It took about three months but the combination of those two herbs and the honey knocked the diseases out of me whereas today I only need to use a rescue inhaler on occasion.

Now I would be hesitant to recommend this self-medication to Straight Story as I did it so I'm not posting the dosages. But maybe if he could find a physician trained in herbology, he might find that an alternative treatment will work for her. I will be sending him light too of course. Also from my personal experience being in the Redwoods seemed to increase my symptoms. I have since avoided them. I don't know if there is something in the air from the pollen or decay that does it, but it did it to me. I know. I love the Redwoods too, but if they live there it might be a contributing factor.

He seems like a good guy that cares about his wife a lot. I'm like you that I'd be reluctant to open that discussion up in public (lest all the naysayers run in) but maybe a PM would not be amiss--I dunno.

I've seen him online talking about her illness before and I just feel so sorry for them...

As for living in the redwoods, I have to admit that being ANYWHERE near woods just sends my allergies into overdrive. My in-laws live on wooded acreage and I have to load up on antihistamines EVERY time we go to see them.

5. Oh, dear. I have followed Straight Story's posts about his wife

and her illness. It is amazing how he cares for her--reminds me of my own beautiful husband. I will definitely be sending healing light and love. For those of us with health challenges, we all know how our health can go up and down. I'm sending her the highest frequency of healing light and asking Divine Mother to help with healing.
