Seth speaks
So, what do you think? A friend of mine wants me to read these books and I have started. Do you know about Seth and what do you think about the content? I would love to know. Thanks.

1. I read several Seth books in the 80's.....
.....they were some of my first books in this spiritual 'realm' after I rejected the organized religion I grew up in.

They were wonderful eye-openers for me then, would have to re-read them now and see how they effect me at this time!

Enjoy!

2. Same as DemExpat...
I read these for the first time in the early 80s and opened my mind up to the possibility that my Roman Catholic upbringing didn't give me a (ahem) complete picture of the very interesting world in which we live. Would like to reread them again to see if I still enjoy them. At the time, thought they made very dense reading.

Jane Roberts was a great human being and from what I know, didn't make a huge fortune off the books as others who have come after her.

3. Have a number of friend who have read the Seth books
& they hold them & their teachings in high regard.

I have intended to read them myself, but seems I always end up reading something else. Maybe one day....

Please post back your impressions when you finish them.

4. I was drawn to Seth by inner guidance
and reading the series of books (starting in 1972) helped me a lot in my spiritual growth.

5. Wonderful books !
I highly recommend them. There are even tapes of the classes that Jane Roberts held. You can obtain them from this web site:

http://www.sethlearningcenter.org/

I also recommend "A Seth Reader" by Richard Roberts. The book contains "The Essence of the Wisdom of Seth Selected in Chronological Order From the Seth Works of Jane Roberts."

One of my favorite Seth quotes from "The Nature of Personal Reality":

"You are in physical existence to learn and understand that your energy, translated into feelings, thoughts and emotions, causes all experience. There are no exceptions."

6. Great site, and they have a sample of one of the recordings
I was curious to know what Seth sounded like on tape, so that was a real treat.

I originally read most of the books back in the 70's, and still have them. I keep meaning to read them once again, since it was so long ago.
The Seth Reader sounds like a good one to add to my collection, or even to start out with before I go digging.

7. I have a hard back copy of the Nature of Personal REality
I am taking it to the Philippines with me Wednesday to give to my oldest son. It is held together with a rubber ban and marked and marked for it's quotes.

I LOVE this book. I have a new copy but my son likes to read my markings in books and I've read this book many times (parts of it) since 1976 when I became strong enough to divorce a loser.

Seth books are wonderful, in my opinion.
