on American Idol, Paula Abdul and one of the contestants were talking about the coming "shift" of energy, a shift toward kindness, Paula called it. Her co-hosts teased her and said she'd been talking about this for a couple of years.

I actually thought that was pretty great.

1. Yaay, Paula! I'm glad that she feels comfortable talking about it.

Many people hide their beliefs; it's nice to hear that she's putting it out there.

4. Paula has always been pretty open about her beliefs. Years ago she

mentioned having a psychic on David Letterman and he teased her about it but she didn't back down.

I thought that was pretty brave of her, too.

That was a funny segment, but gently funny, if you know what I mean.

They had "Age of Aquarius" playing in the background.

I loved it!!

I am not sure if the contestant was brave, or just being entirely herself and uninhibited. I will say this--it was very refreshing.
