Triple Conjunction in Aquarius
Several readers have asked about the Jupiter-Chiron-Neptune triple conjunction that is now shaping up. These three planets are converging in late Aquarius, and will have their greatest influence in the months of May, June, and July, and then again in November and December of this year. For those looking for celestial signs of the Age of Aquarius, one couldn't find a more appropriate alignment.
It's taken a major global economic crisis to move minds, but Neptune in Aquarius is about envisioning ideal systems for the peoples of the world. Chiron in Aquarius aims at recognizing and fixing (healing) the most painful situations, including poverty, hunger and social injustice. Jupiter in Aquarius creates opportunities to come together, to network, discuss and resolve the most important issues facing our planet.
Talk of restructuring our global institutions has already begun and at the highest levels of government. On April 2, the G-20 summit agenda will focus on ways to regulate the financial industries. Also, European leaders are meeting with President Obama to discuss effective climate-change measures ahead of December's UN conference on the subject. And the International Criminal Court is awakening, as it deals with genocide in Darfur.
Most importantly to Americans, this triple conjunction takes place right on the U.S. Moon (at 25º Aquarius), and so will have a dramatic influence over the American people and their collective mood. At the center is Barack Obama with his Uranus at 25º Leo, as he prudently but dramatically implements fundamental shifts in the way Americans do business, relate to each other, and co-create our collective future.
